Guest friendly: umbrellas, guide books, strong wi-fi. Hosts were all helpful--they would give information and/or help, or they would leave you be. Apart from your room, there is a dining room/kitchen, an indoor sitting area, and an outside lanai. Easy public transport. Lovely neighborhood. A...More

Thank you so much for your review Connie. I'm glad you also liked Esca cafe which has a regular local clientele. We hope you return soon as three days is not long enough. Verona Glebe.
We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful B&B and enjoyed every minute. Julienne is a very warm and welcoming person and makes you feel at home immediately. We had a big room with a very high ceiling on the second floor. Two beds, quiet A/C,...More

Thank you so much Richard for your review. Looking forward to hearing about your Crystal cruise to Monaco. Very jealous!!
Our stay at the Verona Guest House was excellent. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. The room was comfortable and clean and the managers couldn't have been more helpful. There is a huge difference between staying in a hotel and staying at this...More

Per-Olof and Ulla were the perfect guests. It was wonderful hearing about all their adventures every day. They even explained to me how to use the new Opal card. Swedish guests will always be welcome at Verona.

An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the
eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
