Read about this new restaurant in "Taste" Telegraph newspaper on Tuesdays as one of the top 25 new restaurants to try. I agree fantastic view from top floor but I felt uncomfortable when asked for my credit card with our first drinks order that was only given back after paying the bill. Food was tasty but over priced. Service acceptable... More

Beware of "dress codes". I was told that sports/leisure gear is not acceptable for lunch. In fact I was told that I must have "no experience in Sydney's cocktail bar scene"( actually a restaurant). Service is rude indifferent and slow. They will kill a great location with bad attitude.

A hotel with potential. Good location for the Rocks and vicinity. Funky appearance and very good value for money. Staff need work. Vary from arrogant (Upstairs bar manager) to competent (check in), to friendly but not so effective. The upstairs bar is badly configured with quite inflexible 6 to 8 person seating arrangments. Unless you are Ok with sitting very... More

Was here recently with a group celebrating a birthday on a Sunday afternoon. Food was okay - we ordered several hundred dollars worth. And the views are incredible! Sadly, the rude, surly service from snotty girls whose dresses were short enough to regularly flash us really spoiled the day. Also the truly obnoxious policy of kicking people out of their... More

This was my 2nd time visiting this establishment and it was even worse than the 1st time. I had taken some overseas guests to this pub and the 2 females working on the ground floor bar were to say the least very unfriendly and rude. It was as if they were doing us all a favour by serving us drinks.... More

yes it has a view if you can squeeze your body in between all the furniture they have crammed into the place then choose a beer from the bland selection on tap.you will find more comfortable pubs around the rocks serving a better selection of beers.

Even from the ground floor the view are great. Sitting downstairs you get a great view of the harbour bridge. A great spot to start or finish a walk around the rocks or barangaroo. Good range of beers on tap.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend who is local. It was a real find! The food was stunning, the barman whizzed up unique cocktails for us, good wine list and stunning views. It was our servers first night, they obviously have a good training programme and working environment as she was great! Our server even took a picture... More

Did not stay in the hotel accommodation here. Just went here for an afternoon drink after a walk around the area. Went to the downstairs bar first which was great. relaxed, nice vibe friendly. One of those old sydney bars with all the history. Went upstairs to grab a bite to eat and have another drink before heading off. The... More

Rooms are small but beautiful. Rooftop bar is stunning, especially after dark. Meals were quite adequate. As a very small hotel with only 6 rooms, don't expect corporate style reception. Love it for what it is, not a corporate hotel. I'll be back.
