On a Sunday after walking around Barangaroo we stop right at 12 at the Palisade hotel for a drink and a bite. The old pub has been beautifully restored so we when up stairs to the roof bar and that's the place to be and while it was fully booked for lunch we managed to have 2 stools at the... More

Good to see they have maintained reschs on tap. Renovation is tasteful, still maintaining the old pub keeping the tiles on the wall. Please tell me why you decide to sell pints instead of schooners? We are not in England. It is not exotic, it is not trendy, it is just plain stupid.

The pub food is really good. The chef has a creative flair. The service is also really good. The bar staff are helpful and friendly. The freshly cooked food arrived promptly. If you're in the mood for a pub lunch, I strongly suggest Palisade Hotel.

We visited the top floor (Henry Deane Bar) on a Sun afternoon and enjoyed a lively atmosphere, cool DJ beats and bar staff that really knew their stuff. The renovations have been done in good taste maintaining some of the historic feel and yet offering a comfortable and quite modern look. The view is superb. Definitely recommend this place for... $20 for a G&T is shocking. The food was average and the service was pretentious , great view of course but that won't be enough to keep this place going. But in fairness the place was packed with Hipsters so it must be doing something right and it was a weeknight

Thank you for taking the time to review Hotel Palisade, we are very sorry your experience wasn’t how you had hoped. $20 for a G&T certainly would be shocking if you weren’t expecting it, please see attached our menu, as you can see none of our gins are $20. We have spent time researching and feel our drinks menu is... More

Spent the afternoon at Palisade Hotel for a work mates farewell lunch. The ground floor looks like your typical dark moody pub with a bar and tables. Take the lift to level 4 and it turns in a posh diner. Level 4 and 5 have several private sitting/eating areas for groups. Level 5 has an open kitchen/bar with lounges and... More

After a big walk around Barrangaroo on Sydney's waterfront, we called in for a cool drink at the old Palisade Hotel. What a great old place to visit, helpful staff, great drinks and a tremendous view. Thoroughly recommend a drink in this hotel for any Sydney visitors.

A place I used to visit many years ago - how good to have it re opened! Take in sights of he historical rocks area and experience Barangaroo. Work up an appetite and drop in to the Palisade. Nice front bar, good food and cold beer. Plenty to see from the upstairs lounge.

Palisade. Palisade to be. That is a terrible pun. Palisade on the other hand, is quite good. 3 floors, 3 very different feels. An old Sydney icon, the Palisade will no doubt compete with the Sydney Harbour Control Tower at Barangaroo to be the last standing part of Miller’s Point heritage. For tourists and yuppies, this is fine. For locals,... More

Have had lunch in the downstairs bar twice recently and the food and service were pretty good as they get this pub going again. They have done a good job of the restoration and retained some traditional elements. It is getting pretty busy as word gets out that it is open again so pays to get there early for a... More
