I spent almost 2 weeks in this hostel and met the nicest people there. The atmosphere was always great and I felt very welcomed by all the longtermers who stayed there for many months already. My dorm (room 4) was very nice with a nice balcony. The bathrooms were clean and the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Now the bad thing: the manager of the hostel Daniella is the worst hostel manager I ever met. She is very moody. One moment she is the nicest person and the next time she yells at guests. She even kicked out longtermers in the middle of the night without giving any reasons and called the police multiple times for guests being too loud in the TV room or smoking outside. It’s sad that this hostel is destroying its potential with one person.

Don't go on that backpack. The atmosphere and understanding is very good with the other backpackers, but only one person destroys everything. Daniela, the receptionist. She is a terrible person who keeps making problems with everyone here. She hated room 9, and managed to get kicked out 6 people (out of 10 !!!!!) in the room at 11pm !!! The police came because a complaint for too much noise was filed by the neighbors, and all these people had to find a way to leave (at 11pm!! Daniela could not have tell earlier they were going to be kicked out??!!). Some had done nothing at all, and were not even on the surveillance videos. Others were on video (and not in room 9) and were not fired. Weird, isn't it? Don't go there, you'll have problems because of her too. She destroyed all the great stuff in this hostel. Cheers

I have stayed in this hostel for a most of my stay in Sydney, there are amazing people there and it’s great for long terms stays. There is one member of staff who is the most awful, rude and vile human being put on this planet, she has upset me and many of the other members living in the hostel. She will call the police on you for anything eg, standing across the road chatting with friends, do not stay here because of her actions. Would completely recommend this place if it wasn’t for her weird and disgusting gestures towards paying customers.

Stayed in this hostel for a few weeks, great people living there, a nice clean hostel but the receptionist Daniella is a one of the most rude and evil people I have met in my whole life, couldn’t recommend this hostel enough if it wasn’t for her, after hearing all the complaints about her from other long term stayers and almost everyone I have spoken to about the hostel, I am very surprised action has not been taken against her. Something needs to be done as this hostel has great potential and she is losing business for the hostel.

Genuinely the worst place I've ever stayed. Left at 4.30am to go to the airport 6 hours early rather than stay any longer. An absolute kip. Zero care put into the place. No staff on hand overnight. Joke.
