I came across this hotel for a short and budget 2-night stay. My family and I totally loved it. We were given an ensuite with 1 queen and 1 single sized bed. The room was huge for 3, and toilet was clean. It was comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. It was definitely worth the price.

Location and price wise, this is a good bet if you're on budget. Breakfast was expectedly not extravagant but it did the work. What I couldn't get over was the bedbug experience. After I sentenced and killed the bug, I did get some good sleep. Overall, location is near the metro and everything seemed walking distance to the main spots...

Dear Lanyah Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at our hotel. The hotel has been recently refurbished with all new furniture, fixtures and fittings. We haven't experienced any cases of bedbugs and also we do have a pest control program for the hotel. In this instance, this may have been an insect that was found...

We found the hotel to be good value for money an din a fairly good location. We were slightly worried that the area would be a bit grotty after reading reviews about it being the red light district however we saw none of that going on during our four night stay here. Kings Cross itself we found to be a...

My husband and I stayed here for a short 1 night stay in November. We found the location convenient for our expeditions in the city. We were lucky enough to get a room with a separated lounge area. Laying in bed with the TV in the partition was nice and relaxing

To be honest this hotel was not my first choice but last minute cancellation from other booking site left me scrambling to find accommodations 3 weeks before my trip (I am not impressed with AirBnB). The room was exactly what the picture showed on their website. We had two adults and two kids in a room with a double bed...

I stayed five nights and attended meetings in the CBD. It was easy to get to and from my meetings via the train, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not work well in the room and I had to ask for the staff to reset it from another location several...

Rented the room with bunk bed (family of 4). Has all needed by us as city travellers - close to King Cross train station, free unlimited wifi with good signal, near grocery store & food outlets in King Cross, near two main car rental shops, has self laundry (coin) & ironing, very helpful frontdesk. The room faces William St but...

In a city with high priced hotels, this place offers decent rates and is in a great neighborhood - near Kings Cross with lots of transporation and places to eat/drink, and within walking disance of a lot of city sights. Modern building, clean and nicely, if simply, decorated.

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighborhood Profile
Darlinghurst
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
