The hotel was fine but not the quality I expected for the price. The good: roomy, clean beds and linen. Mini kitchen with utensils and dishes and tea coffee and cookies. Not as great but adequate: limited appliances- small fridge, hot water kettle, a toaster that did not work and an old partially functioning microwave which they changed without me... More

Where to start. We had room 107. There was no chain or secondary lock of any kind inside the door, we had 2 small, hard beds with no matching bedding items, night stands, or lamps. The room was so tiny, the terrace door was impossible to open without moving beds and furniture, contact paper was peeling on the night stands,... More

I used to live in the area years ago, therefore was looking for something affordable in the area. You can't beat the location; a stone's throw away from Woolloomooloo Wharf and the Botanic Gardens and if you do not mind walking, the likes of Hyde Park and town are not too far away either. To have a good selection of... More

Family room booked for us together with our 2 young gals age 6 and 9. Its about 15mins walk from King Cross train station. There was the stairs which we had to use before reaching our friendly hotel. A hotel which was nice from the outside to the inside. Friendly, Mr Craig and people we met there. Bedding was excellent... More

The room was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. For this price, it's great value if you do not mind the dated rooms. We spend most of our time out of the hotel, and appreciate the balcony, common room, comfortable bed, and how everything worked perfectly in our room. Convenient location for public transport or walking to main attractions, close to F&B,... More

The hotel is a fantastic price for the proximity from the woolloomooloo wharf. The hotel is located in the back streets where sanitation is lacking, however the hotel is immaculate. Rooms are spacious, heated, wifi and large shower areas with automatic ventilation. Tv is small and beds are comfortable but they are 2 king sized singles pushed together. Rooms cleaned... More

Excellent value - it is a 3 star hotel so don't expect The Ritz Location is very good - just a few minutes to the harbour and the exclusive pier at Woolloomooloo. 15 minutes to the Art Gallery and a few more into the Botanic gardens. Pleasant walking the nearby streets with mix of older terraces, some done up, new,... More

We would definitely stay here again. It is close to public transportation & walking distance to the Royal Botanic Gardens & Opera House. Our room felt a little small after all our luggage was laid out but it did have a door that opened up to a common area outside. The room was quiet most of the time we were... More

A secret spot to drop your anchor in Sydney. A terrific gem tucked into the back streets of Woolloomooloo. Its a 15min walk to the art gallery or botanic gardens or a 20minute walk tp Paddington. In short its central. Its quiet as its in a back street and its quaint with old streets looking almost like you stepped back... More

Thanks Craig, you are a very good Manager/Host. I'll be staying here when up for business. My wife, son & I stayed before & after a cruise & left our car here for the two weeks, perfect! We walked to the Rocks and to Kings Cross and ate at local pubs & restaurants. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast & my son... More
