If we can't get into Mariners Court we change our plans. It's clean, comfortable and close to the CBD. It has parking and a great breakfast and the staff our considerate and helpful. When we're in SYD we're out doing things and going for a nice meal and a few drinks. If we had to pay $400 for a room...

This is a smaller economy hotel that met our needs and more. A hot and cold breakfast is supplied in A nice setting with the option of eating inside or on the terrace. It is close to bus stops including the Hop on Hop off bus. We were able to walk everywhere, the Sydney Opera house, Sky Tower, Hyde Park,...

Our Australia trip started and ended in Sydney and eventually we ended up choosing Mariners for both our visits and it wasn't a bad choice. The hotel isn't new and this was visible in both our rooms: the marks of living were visible, there was some problems with jamming bathroom door and during our 1st visit the bathroom was visibly...

Great value for location. Rooms have basic appointments and are exceptionally clean. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Don't expect 24h check-in or fancy restaurant on site. Stroll out and get your own feed: you're on the steps of many cafes, pubs and restaurants. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others. This is a very convenient...

We stayed two nights in this hotel over Christmas. We arrived after a long drive, tired and ready for a rest. The staff at the hotel could not be faulted. The manager could not have been more helpful and he went out of his way to assist us with smAll problems which we encountered.

The room was of average size with no sitting area, but it had a small balcony with chairs and there was a separate lounge with tv and armchairs for sitting. Bathroom was good sized, shower powerful enough, plenty of hot water and bathroom amenities included. Coffee, tea and biscuits available. Two kinds of air conditioning: an automatic one which turns...

As a former old folks home this hotel has its quirks, like hand rails along all the corridors and extra wide doors. This is just an observation not a criticism. The hotel is otherwise comfortable and quiet. The room I stayed in even had a balcony, although only big enough to accommodate a couple of chairs and the view wasn't...

For a hotel close to heart of Sydney, it's hard to beat. The Woolloomooloo wharf area is developing quickly as a 'go to' area in the city. There are many fine restaurants, a couple of great pubs, little cafes to discover amongst the leafy streets and all within a short walk of the centre of town. The Botanical Gardens and...
