The Mercantile has been able to close off George Street with dining outside in the winter sunshine. What a wonderful idea!! We had the Sunday beef roast with a beer and a good serving of Irish music. A really great occasion. If you're looking for something special at a reasonable cost then this is certainly the place. My real hope is that the street dining continues after we get over the Covid problem.

Rainy day in Sydney and a good stop for good Guinness and some live music. The staff are friendly and the building and architecture is so interesting. One of the oldest pubs standing in the rocks and worth a visit on a wet Saturday afternoon.
