Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Reason for only an average score is the first impression as well as the noise from the construction nearby. It is centrally located and depends which side you stayed in. You get a view mostly. The side I am staying are facing the construction (which you can see in the last picture). I can hear the clinging of metals. The first impression wasn't that great was when I asked for a toothbrush and the answer was they are too busy and will probably pass it the next day. Pretty surprised by the response, though in the end, when I was almost heading to bed they knocked on the door and deliver the toothbrush. Also the TV does not seems to have casting options from the phone. No Netflix options on TV.

We had a great time staying on Amora during our honeymoon. We went to four different hotels during our trip and posted the comment in the remarks "It's our honeymoon!" Amora was the only hotel to notice with a congratulations when we arrived. Overall we felt very welcome

this place is not what it used to be. We were disappointed because we expected more. Smells musky, bathroom was dirty, wall near the toilet was stained with urine, breakfast was limited and pastries were stale.

Shame on you. Shame on you for taking government money and lining your pockets with it. Shame on you for serving sub standard food with no nutritional value at all. You have a duty of care for your guests, and serving junk food with no nutritional value is not taking care. Where is the fresh food? Where is the nutritional food? Actually, where is the edible food? This isn't food, It's profiteering, plane and simple. Shame on you. Just because people have been overseas, it doesn't make them animals. They are still humans. (this is directed towards the management and procurement teams, and not for the regular staff who are doing and AMAZING job in a difficult and scary situation) Molly
