Even though the facilities aren't perfect, every time we need cooking tools a bit unpractical but the playing room is nice enough to make people interact. The location is good, it's close to paddy's market and darling harbour. Nice location!

Stayed here for 2 nights during my trip in Australia. You should not expected hospital hygiene standards as they said on their website. But it's worth the price if you just want one place for rest in the city. You may bring a pair of earplug if you need quite environment for sleep. It's hard to avoid noise when you...

Do not stay here. Just had to get a week of antibiotics because i got a skin infection from the sheets. I have personally watched them just remake beds with the same sheets after people check out. The kitchen literally has bugs crawling all over the surfaces. Floors in the bathrooms are wet and dirty 24/7. The communal area smells...

Really bad check-in, the quy in the reception wasn't friendly and it seemed like he didn't care about his paying costemers. They say that their cleaning is like in a hospital, but that was NOT our experience. There are cockroaches in the kitchen and bedbugs in our room. Really a bad hostel. We made them aware of the cockroaches and...

Friendly staff, large room with a small locker and it is in the heart of the city. I went to the pub which is right outside the hotel. Had a good night there. Most importantly, the price was cheap! There is no air-condition in the room, so you'd better bring your own portable fan.

So, this was the cheapest hostel in Sydney centre. At around $30 per night it's pretty good! However, it is cheap for a reason. It has large rooms with lockers which is good. The sheets were stained and with no air conditioning it's quite noisy with all the traffic. There is free wifi which although is not amazing, it works...

Stayed here for 4 nights and those were the worst 4 nights from my trip in australia. Stayed in room 3 and it was so dirty, there was a pluck of hair on the ground and the housekeeper (if you can call it a housekeeper) just left it there, I haven't seen him vacuuming that place once! The mattresses were...

I stayed here for 2 nights. The only bad thing is noise. The price is very cheap for such accommodation quality. The staff I met are friendly and nice. The security is fine, you will get your own locker to store your personal belongings.

I have been there only 3 night but I actually had enough. The room was stinky. The lockers were broken and it was difficult to close them. The social room is I think a joke- it was dirty and furniture were damaged. Bathrooms are terrible. Toilet paper is missing, no hangers, wet all the time and busy all the time....

That was my first time staying at a hostel. Great location with essential facilities. Since it 's in the heart of Sydney city, you will not stay very quite. The security is not bad, you will got own key for your small storage container. It is a good place for young people. The only pity is alcohol not allowed in...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighborhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theater, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
