you get what you pay for. The airconditioning system was pumping out hot air during summer! you could turn the system down but would automatically go back up to 25 degrees and there was no windows. made for very sleepless nights!

Clean tidy room with small sink and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room a reasonable size for the price. Great value in a central location, a short walk to Central, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Breakfast was adequate - great value at $19. Would stay again.

Best value for Sydney hotels, close to station and park, three elevators so easy to get to and from rooms. Good breakfast at reasonable cost. No onsite car park so best to travel by public transport. Aircon too noisy at night so had to turn it off. Three pillows between two people means someone is uncomfortable. Most hotels we have...

Great location and service. Staff were really friendly and the facilities very good. Would recommend to friends and family. No faults and good value. The only thing that I would suggest is to have a larger hub with computers downstairs. We used it to download photos from camera SD cards. Cheers

I felt the room was overpriced at $330 for one night, however the room was functional and clean. Bathrooms need updating. I shuddered when I saw a large group of Contiki tourists in the foyer - it took almost 20 minutes for them to be checked in and moved out of the foyer. Location is alright. Overall pretty average, but...

I stayed at the Travelodge in Sydney this weekend. Unfortunately I had to leave early and Travelodge were kind enough to authorise the booking site I booked my accommodation through, to refund the final night of stay that I missed. That was greatly appreciated! The rooms were tidy however my level was a bit noisy during the night and the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
