Almost everything is right about this hotel, great location, comfy beds, big rooms etc. But to use the Internet from your room costs $20 a day, which just seems odd in an era when even a $15 a night hostel provides free internet. (I understand if you book as some kind of card member you can get free internet included,... More

This is my go to hotel in Sydney and I have been staying here fairly regularly over the last five years. It’s reliable. The service standard is constant. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are lovely, spacious and on upper levels have nice views. It’s conveniently located to get around in Sydney CBD with public transport readily available... More

My favourite hotel in the CBD, and I think I've stayed at almost all of them by now. No shortage of transport options with all the city circle train stations, buses and circular quay within 10 minutes walk. Once you know the city you'll be unlikely to eat in the hotel as there are so many good cafes and restaurants... More

The quality of their High Tea has never wavered. Relaxing setting, fresh , good variety of savoury and sweet with the Heritage Tea. Good variety of teas which they've recently re-jigged. Great customer service. Never a complaint.

Hello, I have stayed at this hotel lots of times. it is in a fabulous location for business and pleasure. It is so reliable and everything just works. Ok - it is a little corporate and the food and drinks are a bit expensive, however you are located on Martin place. Cheers,

Great central location, within walking distance to shops, darling harbour and circular quay. Spacious rooms with good views and all amenities including safe for valuables. Good value for money and express check out works seamlessly.

Used to love this hotel for its location, ambience and rooms. This time I find it tired and in need of an update. Our executive King room was small and some of the drawers wouldn't close. The club lounge needs an update, carpets frayed and chairs stained. Would be staying elsewhere next time

Nice hotel, helpful and friendly staff, good facilities. Hassle free check in and check out. Best part is its location, close to opera house, Sydney bridge, Qvb and a lot of good eating joints. Just keep note that you don't get room slippers, so suggest carry your own. Rest a perfect stay.

Have stayed half a dozen times always a great stay. Great breakfast offer. Heavenly bed was so good we bought one. Very modern décor, great friendly service, what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Very clean. Good central location, a little bit of a walk if you want to pop down to the harbor (good exercise). Would... More

Walking into The Westin's lobby you are reminded of a far grander hotel than would appear from its modest Pitt St entrance. The old Sydney Post Office has been transformed into a huge and stylish courtyard, covered by a large roof window to provide an all-weather area. Amazing! Our rooms were located in the new tower on the executive levels.... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
