The rooms were very nice with all amenities provided, the location is also great. If breakfast is included then enjoy but don't pay extra for it and don't drink the coffee from the machine it is the worst coffee I've ever had. Overall I'd recommend the hotel just not the breakfast.

This is our third stay at Quay West Suites and we still love it! We find it best when sharing with another couple. Sitting in front of the window with a glass of wine enjoying the view each night is indescribable. The unit was clean and comfortable and all amenities were provided, including laundry soap. We love it here!

Just had two nights at this hotel in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath apartment, with a beautiful habour view. The apartment had everything. A small kitchen with everything you would need and a laundry room. The living room/dinning room was a good size and the view worth every penny. Would come back for another stay anytime. Did not eat in... More

If you are planning to stay at the quay and like fresh air then you have to stay at the quay west apartments. Their huge balconies (sometimes 2 depending on suit) overlook the gorgeous city of Sydney or the majestic Sydney Harbour. Fantastic place to stay

My family of 5 walked into our 2 bedroom apartment and we simply all said "WOW"!. The view was AMAZING! A view of both Sydney harbour bridge and Opera house! The apartment was clean, modern, with kitchenette and laundry. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids and location is very close to Circular Quay. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my mum and 2 children. We stayed in a 1 bedroom self contained apartment. Our room was very large, clean and had a great view over the harbour. The hotel is very central to all attractions and in walking distance to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, ferries at Circular Quay and many restaurants. The hotel... More

We spent 3 nights in Sydney with our two teenage boys. Had 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the harbor. Fantastic views of bridge and Opera House. Unit and bedrooms were very spacious, especially for a hotel apartment. Great location near Rocks, Circular Quay and downtown. Easy to walk everywhere. Staff very nice. Continental breakfast was average and a bit pricey, but... More

We spent three nights in a suite overlooking the harbour. The views were stunning. We could have spent the whole time sitting watching the boats on the harbour, and the ever changing vistas of sunlight and cloud. The suite was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The location was brilliant: a short walk to the Quay... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
