This Hotel is located close to Hyde Park which just about every bus goes there from Circular Quay. It is a short walk to Museum Station stop. Easy to get anywhere from here. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good value for the $. Close to good Cafe's for breakfast, lunch or snacks. Safe...

I stayed in room 405 on the 4th floor. This room had a spa bath, which was well appreciated at the end of a busy day. Keep in mind that the spa is a one person bath. The room decor isn't the most modern, but I didn't really care too much; there were other more important things, like what the...

Dear Melrick72 Thank you for your lovely and kind review. I am particularly taken with the phrase "I actually slept better here, at this mid-priced hotel, than I did at a more expensive hotel just before it. I enjoyed my stay, and was well worth the price.". Makes my heart smile that does. And I think this is best explained...

The hotel is on Pitt st which is the street that goes form the central railway station to circular quay (both within walking distance) & also has a large amount of shops & cafes. Darling harbour is closer than Circular quay and although Circular quay has the bridge & the opera house Darling harbour is much more vibrant with lots...

This hotel is exceptional! Called up prior for an early check-in request, and although not guaranteed, we were surprised to have been able to come up to our rooms early - especially after such a long flight and without enough sleep! The receptionists are very nice people as well. It was refreshing to have a shut-eye for a while before...

I stayed here the beginning of November. The hotel is in a great location, it's modern and clean. The room I stayed in had a comfortable double bed, clean bathroom, perfect for me as I was on my own. My room looked out on what appeared to be the outside of the middle of the hotel, and was a little...

Dear 1989tinad Thank you for your thorough and lovely review. Our enviable Sydney CBD location does mean we don't have expansive views unfortunately. I also apologise regarding the confusion around the transfer, I see we were able to recover the stay and it didn't appear to impact on the experience as a whole. We look forward to welcoming you back...

Right in the heart of town. Rooms are a little on the small side but we were only there one night prior to departing for a cruise and then a return night before flying back to New Zealand. Very clean and friendly. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. Special thanks to Minash for arranging an early book in time...

Sometimes it is the little things about a cafe, restaurant or hotel that makes the visit/experience exceptional. We have always believed that good service, a smile and kindly advice can distinguish an establishment. So it was at The Bistro located within The Metro hotel on Pitt. The hotel is a centrally located, clean, and well maintained. Very convenient for a...

Had a fabulous few days staying at the Metro in early November. Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
