This hotel lives up to the hype. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Evan during COVID while many hotels are not doing daily housekeeping this hotel guaranteed daily housekeeping. The breakfast for Globalist is amazing. We were able to order something off the menu and go to the buffet. The views from the breakfast area is a perfect view of the Opera house and harbor. During nice days the windows open up so it feels like you are eating outside. The pool was nice and relaxing with plenty of seating. There was a nice mix of sunny and shady spots. The hotel is very well located and makes it easy to get to the popular tourist attractions in the city. This is a must stay property.
Couldn’t recommend the Park Hyatt enough. Best experience. Staff was lovely and helpful. The room was perfect. The view was unmatched. Can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend adding this to everyone’s list.
Perfect birthday celebration for my partner. We got an upgrade and had very special treatment from the staff. Chocolates, flowers etc. The view was magic and have clicked off a zillion pics of the harbour at all times of the day and night. We even had fireworks.
From the moment you walk in - its service all round. Rooms are phenomenal, clean and with the majority having stunning views of the Opera house. I stayed in a top floor (level 3) suite - stunning. I couldn't fault Room design, very well thought through. Quality aoplicanes including Bose speaker & pod coffee machine Breakfast is flawless and high quality. The roof top pool is a summer must. The gym is very well fitted out, including a peloton bike. Only issue with Peloton you can't wear the normal peloton delta cleats - i packed my Peloton cleats but couldn't use them. Pedals swapped to SPD with toe cage, opposed to normal delta standard. Hidden in the gym us also a steam room. The only minor issue was at Valet, I was parking a small car - but the attendant looked at me and assumed i was a uber driver, and spoke to me in a different manner than a hotel guest. Admittedly he did seem embarrassed at his gaffe. This hotel is absolutely Hyatt category 8 standard. Thank you Park Hyatt Sydney - I can't wait to be back! …
Really enjoyed our time at the park Hyatt. Service, location, rooms and the view were all excellent . Would highly recommend a stay at tge park Hyatt and am very much looking forward to staying there again
I have just checked out of the hotel and it’s good to know that this oldie is still a goodie post-pandemic! Check in was friendly and flawless (kudos to the front desk associates for putting a personal touch to the experience). I felt like a friend returning after a long absence to a very warm welcome. The room was in an impeccable condition - spacious, well laid-out and very comfortable. The bed put me to sleep instantly every night and it was wonderful to wake up to the views from the balcony. I really enjoyed the revamped breakfast menu. It was certainly not your typical Western selection and had many interesting Asian accents to breakfast classics (crab omelette with chilli oil, chorizo fried rice, tuna sashimi with brown rice) and would have filled me up till the evening! The buffet was both sumptuous and high quality. I particularly enjoyed the coconut yogurt, sweet and fresh fruit selection and scrumptious expertly baked pastries. The dining room staff were equally hospitable and knowledgeable. They remembered my preferences without any prompting and always served with a genuine smile on their faces. What a great way to start the day. The bell desk was efficient and always there when I needed help with luggage, umbrella or a ride - all executed with minimum fuss. And compliments to the back of house as well - the Guest Service operators were responsive (they called back whenever there was a missed call - that’s very rare even in top establishments), and my requests for laundry and shoe shine were promptly and effectively fulfilled. All in all a most wonderful return to the Park Hyatt Sydney - the same Grand Dame of The Rocks but new and enhanced in other ways! Thank you to the team for a great stay am I am looking forward to the next one!…
This was my first trip to Sydney and the Park Hyatt. My son had stayed here previously and raved about it so he and I decided to try it again. From the minute we got to the hotel, we were treated great. Easy check in. Had Globalist status so got upgraded to Deluxe Opera House View and complimentary breakfast. We couldn't get upgraded until our 2nd night so they came and moved all our stuff into the new room. Room was amazing! 2 balconies with gorgeous views of the Opera House. We used the rooftop pool/jacuzzi (only gripe is jacuzzi was cold) and ordered room service up there. It came quickly and such good prices. We ordered room service another time and couldn't believe they don't have service charges like in the states. The concierge desk was top notch. They recommended some good restaurants and helped us get same day last minute reservations to Mr. Wong's-our fav. The breakfast was amazing! Delicious hot items off menu and everything else on the buffet. Yummy pastries, fruit, juices, cheeses etc. We had an early flight our last am so they let us do breakfast the day we got in as well as check in early. Park Hyatt is the nicest hotel in Sydney with the best location. We were able to walk everywhere from Botanical Gardens to CBD, Darling Harbor, restaurants, the open air market etc.. I stay at top notch hotels and I rarely give 5 stars but this hotel is perfect. Not a single complaint. Can't wait to go back in December.…
Absolutely Perfect place. From fantastic service. Beautiful rooms. Gorgeous bathrooms, great dining and facilities. This is a must stay. Location is nothing short of sublime. Breakfast is also highly recommended. Would 100% stay here again.
My fiancé and I made the tough decision to relocate back to the UK. We stayed in the Park Hyatt as a special treat prior to leaving. It was such a great experience and really capped off a great time of our lives in Australia. If we ever come back to Australia we will certainly be visiting the park Hyatt again.
Excellent 5 star hotel with fabulous views. Everything you would expect and the best location in Sydney. Beautiful breakfast. Had a harbour/city view room and the view was spectacular , especially at night with the lights of the city. Huge comfortable Super King Bed with great pillows!
