I organised a corporate event for 60+ high level academics in the Gallery Rooms I & II and could not fault the staff, the venue or the facilities for their professionalism in the running of this event. Michael, Karen and the remainder of the events team were excellent in helping us work out the best venue for our needs and... More

Our first encounter this afternoon with the Park Hyatt left us wanting more. We dropped in for a wine accompanied by a cheese platter. The Pinot was a perfect match for the Brie, blue and cheddar selection. The view was great and the service top notch. This place oozes quality, especially if you want a place a little away from... Given the price you pay is miles more than other hotels your expectations of the Park Hyatt should also be miles more. Location and views from the opera suite are amazing of course. However, service has dropped a little since our previous visit. We used to get escorted to our room but this no longer happens. Closing time for buffet... More

The best hotel in Sydney by far. Amazing service, rooms fitted out amazingly. Breakfast room was buzzy and great food. The bar at night served great martinis - too many one night. Best to have a room level two up - u miss the roof line of the ground floor.

I booked a couple's spa experience for an anniversary celebration and was not disappointed. We were not staying as guests, but were welcomed to the hotel as if we were and guided to the spa. The spa itself is a peaceful and calming environment which is more like a luxury apartment when you enter and are seated in the waiting... More

Stayed at the Park Hyatt from this past June 29-July 1 at the start of our 25th wedding anniversary trip. From the excellent doormen and front desk staff, delicious food, to the well-appointed rooms with beautiful views of Sydney Harbor and the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge, it was an unforgettable 5 star experience. Highly recommend!

It was my second time staying at this hotel. It's nothing short of perfect. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. Their breakfasts are spectacular with pretty much everything you would ever want. I'm sure if it's not on the menu or in the buffet it would be made for you! All the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The... More

It was on my bucket list to stay here and now I have I will absolutely return. The room is probably one of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in, especially in Australia. Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
