For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to stay here but I've never been a fan of paying $$$ to stay in a hotel in the city you live in... with exceptions of course! After an amazing dinner at Quay on 10/12, my other half suggested a stroll to the Park Hyatt. I had arranged a wonderful...

I stayed at the Park Hyatt Canbarra for 3 nights a week for 48 weeks of last year, so we decided to have a night away from the kids and booked this with Gold passport points. Upon arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded to a City harbour view room and were warmly welcomed by professional yet friendly...

Service is impeccable. Room is modern minimalist style, clean and sleek. We had a room with a view of the Opera House which was fantastic. Located in The Rocks area which is a great location to restaurants. Walking distance to the Circular Quay for ferries. Only negative is I wish the bathroom had better lighting. Loved the heated toilet seats...

Dropped in here after 10pm for a quick meal. Restaurant closed so sat in bar area. Had 2 Gin and Tonics which were fine except where were the nuts? For a meal I had a curry and my wife had a prawn dish with a salad that was supposed to contain bean shoots. The meals arrived and firstly we were...

Dear PerthShane57, Thank you for taking your time to provide us with feedback following your experience in The Bar. I was truly disheartened to learn of your underwhelming experience, in particularly regarding our food quality. This is not indicative of the level of food offerings to which we strive, and I will certainly share your feedback with our executive chef...

This hotel was our first stop on a 16 day trip to Australia and New Zealand. After a 16+ hour flight, we arrived very early in the morning. Although our rooms were not ready upon arrival, the staff kindly ushered us to the spa where we could use the equipment and freshen up in the showers. I think every room...

We went for High Tea at the Hyatt. We had quite a wait to be served but when the food arrived it was delicious. Unlimited tea and wonderful scones with jam and clotted cream. The location was fantastic too, across the water to the Opera House, the most beautiful sight in the world.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, we couldn't have wished for a better view from our balcony across the harbour for our 2 nights in Sydney. Our room was big and luxurious, fabulous bathroom and large comfy bed. Generally good service, the staff on reception particularly were really friendly and helpful. The spa is great, we had a very good...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
