On arrival impressions were good but then it all went down hill from there. The airconditioner did not work. There was demolition just out side the balcony so you could not open the doors or windows. The spa did not work. The windows on the eleven floor had not screens on them. This does not comply with Australian standards. The... More

The deluxe 1 bedroom was a decent size with kitchenette, laundry cupboard with washer & dryer, wardrobe, 2 seater lounge, 2 seat dining set and balconette. Room was clean and looks like it had been recently painted but the bathroom needs attention, water damaged & chipped on sink cupboard, grout old, discoloured and missing in places. Shower water pressure wasn't... More

This place is in a great location close to everything, especially town hall station. Rooms are a good size but very dated and I found that it gets quiet cold due to poor sealing of the Windows. Staff are friends and more than willing to help especially when I needed more blankets.

I stayed here recently with my wife and infant. The location was great with shops close by and Darling Harbour a 5 minute or so walk too. The room was fairly clean but that's where the good points end. We were given a port-a-cot for our son and we didn't realise that the mattress was so bad until about 4am... More

Great room with everything you need. The only downfall was the shower size and the bathroom was not as luxurious as the rest of the room. Would highly recommend this hotel though and really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was really more like two apartments, and used a Scoopon deal. Had a mixed experience. The Good - great location (2-3 mins from Darling Harbor restaurants and 10 mins from QVB and Town Hall train station), large apartments, comfy bed, pool, gym, polite and friendly people on Reception,... Very friendly staff. Clean hotel despite what others have found. Nice heated pool and spa. Great location. Parking tight but that's the city in general. Very good value. The hotel us located near Chinatown and Darling Harbour with great restaurants and attractions. Town Hall station just a block away.

Good value for money for the great location, minutes from Darling Harbour and the main shopping district, and the apartment style accommodation including kitchen and laundry. However, air conditioning didn't work so we had a small portable heater (don't know what would happen in summer!), mould on the tiles above the shower, one bathroom light didn't work and wasn't fixed... When we spoke in the morning with the front desk staff, we ask for our room to be clean knowing that, on Sunday, you need to ask or else they wont clean it. We also ask for another bed in the room, which was confirm with them in the morning. When we arrive at night, our room wasn't clean, and... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
