Five star hotel without any pretension and at a very resonable cost. From arrival at front of hotel, through reception, porters bar and dining staff everyone was so friendly, helpful and showed a pride in their job and their hotel which made everyone's stay a fantastic welcoming experience. We stayed here 4 years ago and loved the hotel, this time was... More

Been staying here weekly through Jan and feb 2016 and could not think of anywhere else in Sydney I would like to stay. So convenient to everything Sydney has to offer and the rooms and service is second to none . Breakfast and the use of the executive lounge was also a big bonus

I had a first rate experience at Amrita Spa during my stay late last week. My thanks to Viktor and Suzanna who directed me to Nadine and Yvonne, both of whose magic hands provided much needed deep tissue relief and trigger point therapy. Additional thanks to Suzanna and Yvonne for accommodating my early morning schedule before I had to dash... More

Excellent hotel location and clean and efficient staff. The room had a great view and it was really quiet. Loved the breakfast with great choice of food. Good valet service. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I strongly recommend this hotel. Prices are reasonable. Hotel staff are so helpful and friendly, Don't have to pay extra for WI-FI. Rooms and amenities are excellent. Location is central to train stations, shopping centres, parks and other attractions.

Thought I would treat my Husband for his 60th birthday so the 3 of us (self and daughter included) spent 2 nights this weekend just gone in a 2 x double bed room. Went to drop off our bags around 10.15am before heading off to lunch at Watson's Bay with friends...the usual friendly and warm welcome awaited us at reception... More

Great location, good value, exceptional service level, our favorite hotel in Sydney. In the middle of the shopping areas with amazing deals, it's a short walk from the Quay and Opera House. Swissôtel always knows how to impress with impeccable attention to details and guest experience to exceed.

2 Day stay before departing on cruise ship to Auckland. Excellent and friendly service from everybody. Ideally situated for our purpose. Rooms outstanding. Check-in and check-out fast and efficient. I had some business to finalise and used the business centre and awesome assistance from the desk.

We had a king room overlooking the pool, and you could see the Queen Victoria Building. The hotel was very nice and comfortable . The staff was great, concierge Troy was awesome and so helpful. In a super location, I would recommend and I would stay there again.

We stayed overnight to attend a show at the State Theatre. It was so close I was even able to pop back to use the facilities at intermission! The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the air con quite quiet and the street noise minimal. The full buffet breakfast was amazing.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
