This is a fantastic place. It is in the heart of Sydney close to shops, close to theatres, close to restaurants. Great place to set up a base camp to then explore the best of Sydney. Right next door to Sydney Tower, Myer, David Jones, State Theatre, QVB & Pitt Street Mall

Hotel's Favorite
We booked a room with a view of Darling Harbour that gave my partner a view of water that she wanted & all 3 of us were able to see the planes coming into land as well as take off. The room was very spacious, close to the lift & access to the rooms was via 2 separate lifts than eliminated any security problems that could occur. The buffet breakfast was superb & you did not leave the facility feeling hungry. My daughter had without a doubt the best breakfasts she had ever had in her life. Location Location this hotel had it all. Walk to the left & you are in Hyde Park. Go right & it's Darling Harbour. And they are both easy walks. Best of all is the Light Rail stop 50 metres away in George Street just around the corner that is 3 stops to Circular Quay for all the ferry rides. Woolworths or Coles just around the corner If you need a hotel that has it all IT IS SWISSOTEL IN SYDNEY We will be returning in 6 months time because both Sydney & this hotel can compete with anything there in the rest of the world

Sometimes getting the basics right is all you want on a business trip. Swissotel Sydney has the simple things done well and I don’t need the fancy add ons I never use. Easy checkin Clean room and well laid out Hygienic gym space Good food in the restaurant and able to support late arrivals

All staff were great. was some confusion as to whether our breakfast was included or not. Breaky was great but the pastries were average. LOVE the eggs cooked to order, Concierge team was great but the bar staff had no idea on how to make a Bloody Mary. Will defs return.

I stayed here last week and was pleasantly surprised by most aspects of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, everything was in good working order. The pool is a fantastic addition and there is a small gym located beside it. There is a beauty centre, guests lounge and an excellent business centre. Despite being an Accor member, the staff were a bit dismissive, borderline rude. Comments like " I cant serve you now" or no reply at all? I cannot say I have encountered that at other Accor hotels. The parking is a problem, My advice is to pull up on the opposite side of the road to unload, and then find a public car park. Expect to add $60 a day for public parking as the hotel does not provide it unless booked in advance. The location of the hotel is excellent and central, hence the parking problem. Overall I did enjoy the property and the pricing is fair. I would recommend the property and return if I was in town. But I would look into a better parking situation in advance,

We spent a double celebration here recently - my daughter's 21st birthday and Mother's Day. We had a lovely stay and thank you for the birthday cake. Amenities are great and well located for shopping!

We are longtime Accor members, however this was our first stay at Swissotel Sydney in a few years. On this occasion, we stayed in an executive suite and therefore had access to the executive lounge for the first time. This hotel has a lot going for it. Its location is very convenient for guests who are keen to shop or do business in the CBD. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Some safety measures, such as handrails in showers and toilets would be helpful for guests with mobility issues. Some stand out staff go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and appreciated (special thanks to Rosina in the club lounge who was outstanding ) however there are still some gaps in service and products. Despite paying for the executive lounge where it was advertised that a quiet breakfast could be enjoyed, this was not available during our recent stay. We were forced to use the buffet breakfast at Ten Stories restaurant during a busy Mother’s Day weekend. The selection on offer was ok, but so it should have been for $40 per head. It was exceptionally busy (which we’d hoped to avoid) and was a bit of a zoo. Service at breakfast was slow and perfunctory, and lacked genuine interaction with guests. We were disappointed to sit 4 feet away from two Accor managers (one male, the other female) who joined a couple of name dropping high tier guests for breakfast, while uncleared plates piled up on our table and were ignored by other staff. These two did not have the courtesy to bid a good morning to any other guest in the restaurant and did not seem to appreciate their highly visible behaviour and the negative impression it left. (The talkative high tier guests were later seen holding up the check out line. A queue of 10 arriving and departing guests became increasingly frustrated as these two made long-winded chit chat with reception staff during the busy 11:00am check out rush.) The executive lounge is a self serve affair with little staff monitoring. We saw people who were not in-house guests being ushered in by guests and enjoying the complimentary canapé and cocktails as a party of six instead of two. With just one staff member rostered on to look after the buffet, collect plates and glasses and provide an appearance of RSA compliance, it must have been impossible for Swissotel staff to work out who was meant to be here and who wasn’t Despite this, the menu was good and the food on offer fresh and filling. Per head. R

I stayed here a few years ago and was sadly disappointed but not this time. What a fabulous place to stay. Top quality, so central, perfect for shopping and the concierges were fabulous! JJ went above and beyond to help with our car, the food at club was great, the rooms are modern, spacious, quiet and clean. I was very impressed with the whole hotel, a massive improvement and I look forward to my next stay. Thank you to the staff for making us feel like royalty.

Paid $535 for one night in an “executive king size room” with access to “executive lounge” (includes beverages, afternoon tea, dinner drinks and canapés). The hotel room appeared much bigger in the online photos and the “executive lounge” was more like a self serve cafeteria. The “afternoon tea” was a far cry from the photos they advertise. We checked out and requested a refund. We went to QT hotel across the road and was blown away by the comparison. Similar price, but amazing service, luxurious room and great food.
