Very nice hotel - I have stayed at most of the decent hotels around Circular Quay and this is my favourite. Rooms very nice and lobby bar great and usable for meetings etc. Meat & Wine Co restaurant is very nice, if a bit expensive.

Stayed for 4 days, and we were very pleased with the service, ambience and courtesy of staff. Hotel is very well located with markets, terminals nearby. We found the breakfast very very good, prompt service, wide range of fruit, muffins etc. There was a billing glitch which soured the experience a little bit since we got billed for minibar usage... Our room is quiet, beautiful and very relaxing. Plenty of room to spread out. Here for a week. Close to trains and ferry. Concierge arranged dinner reservations and was helpful with suggestions. Definitely recommend.

This hotel is sold on location and views, and they are amazing. But there the 5star ends. The lifts are extremely slow . One day they were so bad the staff took us through the kitchen and up in the staff lift. 5 star? room was average but the bathroom is small and very dated. You have to climb inside... More

Nice hotel with beautiful views of the harbor and Sydney Opera House. If you have access to the the Club floor there is a nice breakfast and we were going to see My Fair Lady at the Opera house, enough for dinner. Also free bottles of water and snacks.

Stayed at room no 1417 on 16th September night. No tissue paper, room was not cleaned. Previous guest's in room slipper was under the bed. Dark oily mark next to all the wall switch button plates. Bathroom wasn't clean (lacks the feel of a 5 star hotel). It's not the intercontinental hotel one would have expected. I left my feedback... More

It is a beautiful heritage property built into a hotel with 3 minutes walk from the famous Opera House. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit juice which you could make yourself. All options of coffee and frappe available. The staff is helpful. Overall was a good stay!

We booked online and found the price very reasonable for a nights stay with breakfast. Nicely detailed room with all the mod cons and a great view. There's a heated indoor pool on the 31st floor where you can view the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The breakfast was amazing with everything you would need. You're only a five... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
