Had a room with a Harbour view on the 27th floor just off the elevators. No problems with noise. The room was spacious with a wonderful window seat, a sofa and desk. The bathroom was a nice size with a fixed shower head and curtains. Neither of these proved an issue with me. Evening turn down service was nice, the blinds...

Okay, this was a babymoon weekend with a 3 week old baby (accompanied by two young siblings), so our expectations were a little different from the normal traveller. First up, we drove to the address provided to us and after much angst managed to find a carpark on a very busy street; only to be informed that we had parked...

I had arranged a stay at the intercontinental for my husbands birthday. The views from the room surpassed our expectation....just wow! We visited the supper club after dinner out. The concierge had kindly arranged a table for us. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and will surpass other 'known' bars with a view. The service for drinks was quite...

Stayed here with my mum as a Christmas present on our travels! It was such a great treat! Awesome location to everything in Sydney! Great views of the harbour! Lovely swimming pool with sauna! Didn't eat here but had a few drinks in the bar. Loved the window into the bathroom!

I have stayed here before and love the rooms with views to The Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The feeling you get when you enter the room and see these 2 icons is amazing and I do enjoy just gazing at the view endlessly . The continuous water traffic is fascinating to watch and changes constantly. The night views...

Spent 2 nights with elderly relatives at the Intercontinental prior to ANZAC day. An initial issue with the room bookings was sorted professionally by Nicholas the manager who responded with generosity and calmness. From this point onwards the hotel staff looked after us extremely well. The rooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable, the location and view are beyond fantastic...

We stayed March 20-24, 2017 in a suite with bedroom overlooking the Opera House and sitting room overlooking the Harbour Bridge. Spacious rooms with everything we could wish for. Separate lavatory with washbasin off the large hallway. Bathroom off the bedroom had lavatory, and large shower separate from the bathtub. Bedroom had lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Internet worked...

My husband and I recently returned to our hotel of choice in Sydney to enjoy a 2 night stay- just some R and R after a few hectic weeks. From the moment we checked in at the Club Lounge, we were made to feel very special and much appreciated as returning guests. We had absolutely nothing more to worry about...

Spent four nights at this Intercontinental Hotel. The location is ideal and the view from the higher floors of both Sydney icons, the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge is amazing. In addition since we were catching a Cruise, it was great to see Cruise Ships dock at the port. The hotel is a FIVE minute walk to the Cruise...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
