I stayed for two nights mid week while attending a conference down the road. The room was comfortable and clean but my standard room was quite small. I ordered dinner at the bar on the second night and enjoyed a tasty steak, though there is no room service. I missed having a gym to use too. However, it was much...

We stayed during the Lions rugby tour in July 2013. Location was fantastic with a harbour view room, and easy access to the city. But room has no storage space, just a small hanging space for clothes, and 3 small shelves alongside, no drawers. The Ibis bed was really comfortable and lived up to its promises. Good with tea and...

The staff where very helpful. I booked on a last minute website so i picked up a cheap rate. This was one on the cheapest hotels available and i think its excellent value for money in the Sydney market. They exceeded my expectation. Its a shame the monorail; has gone but it still has brilliant quick access to Darling Harbour...

Well we wanted to be near darlingharbour. I paid extra for harbour view room which was nice. Very pretty at night. Rooms are very small and basic... but really we only went there to sleep. Carpark and access to darlingharbour not explained well by staff. All staff we saw happier chatting to each other than assisting us! Buffett breakfast good...

Great location, rooms are quite small but adequate. The bed was so comfortable. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was huge, shame the coffee machine wasnt quite warm enough for my taste. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Situated right in Darling Harbour so location is excellent. The rooms were very small and starting to be a little tired. If you just want somewhere to sleep and don't need space or quality then the Ibis is a good choice.

Terrible Terrible stay. I had booked this online and wanted somewhere right on Darling Harbour as when we go to Sydney we usually stay pretty central to Darling Harbour but were going for my husband's birthday so i thought right on the harbour would be perfect. Well we arrived my husband asked the staff member checking us in where do...

Decided to book a night in the city at the last moment and booked the Ibis with a Darling Harbour view. While the room is smaller than the Novotel, which is adjoining, the view is exactly the same and for the price you can't go wrong. Nice dining room and smallish bar overlooking Darling Harbour as well. Great value for...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
