I'm sad that I'm rating a Four Seasons 3 stars. The Four Seasons shouldn't be average, but this one is. Everything from the small rooms to the cramped bathrooms to the dated decor is eh, just okay. I'm staying at this hotel now, and will be here for 9 days, and it's not great. Here's the thing. The hotel can't... More

Chosen for a special occasion, this was not an inexpensive option but was worth every dollar. Location was excellent for our needs as a short walk from the hotel entrance is Circular Quay, providing several public transport options. Within walking distance of the hotel is 'The Rocks', and staff were keen to book any day trips you desired. Excellent staff/service,... More

This hotel was chosen because we had booked the Quay restaurant close by. It also is close to The Rocks and Circular Quay. I also wanted to gaze at the Harbour Bridge and walk along it, so we had a full harbour view for four nights. The king size bed was almost room size and so comfortable. I did miss... More

Overnight stay for business. Decided to stay in and order room service. On delivery, staff realised I was unwell and very kindly came back with a tray of lemon ginger tea with honey and lemon slices on the side. Very kind and generous. No one likes being ill away from home. This gesture made a difference.

Great location with fantastic views. Very comfortable rooms and staff extremely helpful before and doing our stay. You can walk to the opera house and the Sydney harbor bridge or downtown for shopping.

We recommend the Four Seasons in Sydney. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, classic style. We stayed in premier city suite and really liked it. The only thing we didn't like was the noise coming from the hallway, there was a family with kids on both sides of us and they kept slamming the doors and kept walking back and... More

We only live 35mins from Sydney CBD but love staying at the four seasons as it is so central to everything & is always an easy & convenient stay. Plus, the late checkout is awesome if you've partied hard or are just enjoying child free time.

This hotel is right in the centre of Sydney, close to Circular Quay with access to ferries, and will be served by the Light Rail when that it completed. The exterior doesn't look much (concrete and a little brutal) but inside it's quite luxurious. I had the bonus of an upgrade to a larger room which obviously made my stay... More

This hotel is in an excellent location right along the Sydney Harbour and close to a lot of attractions and transportation. The staff was excellent throughout our entire five night stay. The breakfast buffet was also very good, stocked with healthy choices. The only issue was with the window of our deluxe harbour view room. It sealed so poorly that... More

I found Sydney expensive but the beds and service at the Four Seasons was great. The location of the Four Seasons is close to the harbour and a great amount of restaurants and entertainment. I would recommend staying at the Four Seasons.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
