I accidentally left some things in the room when I left and they charged me another night because I had left items in the room. They were quite rude when questioned about it. Asked for the manager and they refused to come out. Wouldn’t recommend
Great room. Not the newest but cosy. The 24 hour open hot tub and sauna are great assets, and the view from the adjoining pool is legendary. The staff at the restaurant in particular Paul is super friendly and helpful. Full marks.
Pros: Nice and spacious room, good location, value for loyal customers (discount on breakfast, welcome drink, upgrade Cons: old and run down building. inside the room, there are many cracks on walls staff not friendly at all, no smile
Wonderful staff as always, going the extra mile to be helpful, friendly and kind. The rooms however are extremely lack lustre. Extremely old upholstery in the suite looks like it’s from the 70s design. A strange permeating smell all across level 15. Exposed wiring in the room, switches that don’t work, missing components of from the shower faucet. Wouldn’t expect this from a 5 star, let alone a 3 star.
We checked in on the 10th morning , there is no Bell Desk or a Bellboy to take your luggage, we reached at 8.30 am on the morning but were given a room at 12 pm and 2.30 pm even when they had rooms , reason that we pay extra for early check in , Now the surprise, when after we checked out my CC was charged 55 $ without my knowledge and when we called the hotel , reason was given that the mini Bar was used which was not true , so be careful you call the front desk before hand and have the room checked and take a no outstanding bill or you be falsely charged
I stay at this hotel regularly, every couple of months. I love its location, room decor and cleanliness. Checkin/reception are always very polite and helpful. My Accor gold status was recognised with an upgrade. This trip though I was disappointed to find out there were no dining options for dinner other than room service. Service seems to be under pressure also. We called for an extra pillow twice on the first night - nothing was brought to room after either call. Called again the next night. Nothing arrived. Called again, no answer. Ended up going down to reception and asking them face to face and finally one was delivered. Also disappointed to see that coffee pods, tea bags and bottled water wasn’t replaced on the second night. At $250+ a night - these are basics that should be done right. …
We recently stayed on level 9 in a harbour view apartment. Josh was great on arrival. The apartment was lovely and clean. The shower was annoying in that the door would not stay shut. We had lovely views of Vivid. Unfortunately only one lift was working in the hotel so there were wait times for a lift. Would have liked more availability for their dining options but there are an abundance of good options around the hotel. The Italian restaurant downstairs on quay level was really good. Breakfast was good.
We stayed 5 nights at the hotel, the quality of service throughout was excellent, staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was clean and well furnished. It’s well situated with easy access to all the main areas in Sydney.
Our stay in Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is memorable as it’s our Anniversary. We were given complimentary wine . All our request was given to us . The receptionist ( Angeli Fuentebella ) has given us superb service . Thanks so much . We are delighted in our stay and surely coming back in the near future
We told them the room smelt like urine and there was dirt on the walls . It took them a day to move us after much complaining. They are under staffed. The hotel is dated. I told them the roof top spa is cold and they told me that at the middle of winter that was the temperature it was set at. Ridiculous for a property we paid about $400 a night for. Only good things were the location and buffet breakfast. Do not stay unless it's at least below $200 per night!!!!
