Great Aussie pub in the heart of Woolloomooloo, great location - walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery and the CBD. Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food with specials on different days of the week and happy hours. There are rooms upstairs, which are basic but adequate and great value for money. Highly recommend!

The pub is next to our hotel and very convenient. The happy hour offers 5 dollar pints. There is pub food too which we didnt try. Good atmosphere. I can recommend to go for a beer and meet the locals. If you look for a tourist magnet head elsewhere.

Our group couldn't fault the food or the service. Thank you Adam and the lovely girl who looked after us. We will be back! Perfect spot upstairs on the verandah for a large group. Easy walk from the Botanic gardens.

Friends visiting from QLD stayed at The Frisco for three nights as it was close to where I live. We all had a lovely late lunch on the balcony upstairs. The north facing sun & views over the city were great. Meals were delicious & very moderately priced. I also checked out the rooms, clean & comfortable with shared bathrooms.... More

I live in the area and have never made it into the pub so I decided to check it out one Sunday arvo. The food was appalling! For a burger and fries I don't know his you can get it wrong but out of the three of us only one could finish their meal.... Looks like a small pub from... More

Looks a little off putting from downstairs but a casual diner with excellent staff and food at woolomoloo. We ate twice in the evening as very local to our hotel. I had king prawns with tomatoes, garlic and garlic bread, partner had steak cooked to perfection and excellent bottle sauvignon price 20 aud each, starter pizz to share. Lovely efficient... More

Very cute place - just grubby bathrooms and felt like we were walking into a secret club. Drinks were reasonable. Food was like usual pub food. Not appropriate for families but definitely okay for a casual catch up.

After waiting for over an hour for our meal to arrive, and complaint about it at the upstairs restaurant, the excuse given was that there were too many people ordering hamburgers in the bar downstairs!!!
