Well what an interesting place. Shown round briefly, given very little information other than meal times. Accommodation in a tin hut with no bathroom light and no way to lock the hut (despite being mentioned these things didn't get fixed)

Evening meal was interesting considering 4 chicken nuggets were put into the driest burger roll ever. This then showed how clique the whole place was as basically new people were ignored!

Surf lesson was the only saving feature. Staff were attentive, encouraging and supportive. Clearly passionate about what they do and keen for others to succeed. They deserve 5 stars 😊

The 2-day surf camp was a good way to get introduced to surfing, although after the 2-hour morning lessons, you get bored. You need to pay extra for additional surfing sessions, their photos or to join the afternoon activities (which were not that diverse and uninteresting if the weather is bad). And there is absolutely nothing around outside of the camp. At night, everybody would party and drink so if you are not a huge party person, you also get bored. The two things I liked about this experience was that you get to meet a lot of nice people that you see again later on your trip, and that you are introduced to the surfing world. Otherwise, it's just okay.

Had 2 great days here! Lots of fun with really friendly and helpful instructors. Even though I never tried it before it was so much fun trying. The place has a nice and chilled Vibe that makes you want to stay longer!
I would definitely recomend it

We stayed here for one night during our East coast road trip and could have easily stayed for longer.
We didn’t arrive until 7pm as we hit a lot of traffic driving down from Brisbane however the team kept some food for us and even reheated it when we arrived.
The spot we had for our campervan was ace as the views we had was stunning.
We had a surf lesson in the morning which was excellent. The instructors were very patient with us and we even managed to catch a few waves...yeeeww!!
Thank you to Rhys, Tom, Matt and the team

I had originally intended to stay at spot X for 5 days and ended up extending my stay for another 4 because I was having such an amazing time.
Surf lessons were brilliant, I had a a few different instructors over the course of my stay and all of them delivered great lessons that were adapted to the level of the participants, something you don't often see with group lessons of any kind.
My trip couldn't have been better in any way and a large part of that was due to the friendly, welcoming staff and the overall atmosphere that they've created at spot X.
