They are tired rooms quite noisy in a small market and well little more than a place to sleep. Not sure about the staff but what really surprises is the way the general manager attacks people who write legitimate reviews on this forum. In a service dominated industry I just wonder the purpose of this rather than learning from mistakes...

I have stayed at the Capital Executive Apartment Hotel on several occasions when I have visited Canberra and have always come away pleased with the accommodation. My recent stay was no exception. The reason I chose it again was that it is so close to the centre of the city, and is so reasonably priced. The room was fairly basic,...

Needed a hotel in Braddon- it was a busy time, lots of hotels booked out or ridiculously inflated for the night. For what I paid it was reasonable - clean, tidy, a comfortable bed, plenty of space and close to lots of restaurants. However it is very tired and dated - reception staff could have been more welcoming and friendly....

We put in the comments section that the dates were faulty and put in the real date on the comments section as we paid. Peter, the Manager basically...

For one night only -- 3 women staying together had a bedroom and a living room with two murphy beds. All beds were very comfortable, nice sheets, properly made so the sheets didn't pull off the mattress after ten minutes. I was one of the living room sleepers, and found it fairly claustrophobic, but for one night, why not? The...

An older style apartment but nicely revamped. Smallish kitchenette but adequate. Small balcony overlooking a park. Comfortable couch to relax in after sightseeing. A/C helped keep some of the traffic noise at peak hour to a minimum. Pretty tight car parking but it is included so a bonus. No blackout drapes as were expected but shutters which did not open...

It may have new carpet but it is about how unclean the hotel is. The bathroom was filthy. It was obvious the shower had not been cleaned for a long time. There were dead insects on the sink and floor. The bowls and utensils in the kitchenette had remnants of food in them from previous guests. It is a case...

Dear JohnAdams1973, We say "Avoid this Guest" Arrived and wanted to check-in early and he was informed that check-in time is 2.00pm, threatened my staff by saying that if he did no get to check-in now, then he would be writing nasty stuff about us on tripadvisor. By the way they drank all the coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the room and...

Clean and reasonably comfortable for the price but badly in need of updating. Some equipment broken - ironing board with broken strut. Room allocated at booking is a warning sign not to expect a room like in the pictures ...

This apartment at excellent location, just within 10mins drive to most of the attractions. They clean and refill coffee tea everyday. A gas station nearby with Coles Express. There is a food trucks area in there, around 9 trucks. Lots of restaurants nearby and these are walking distance.

We were a bit nervous about the traffic noise noted in some reviews, we had room 115, out the front on the main road and right by the lift. Good news was the lift had no noise and when we closed the second sliding door on the balcony, no noticeable road noise, great. The room was a bit "tired" but...
