Hotel's Favorite
Great views from higher floors, comfortable rooms with balconies. Excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly helpful staff Comfortable beds - Good system wth 2 sheets on either side of doona/ quilt so that you can step back to sheet only and are not forced to have doona on in middle of summer and aircon on high as in some hotels which do not offer this option

so it is just a hotel, the rooms are average (could do with some better lighting, once the curtains are closed the room is very bleak) the food was average (steak for dinner the first night the sauce layer was average in flavour and taste) the breakfast available in the restaurant is the same as room service so if you want to keep to yourself just order room service. asked for tea and received hot water about 7 minutes later after taking the water away i actually got the tea. there was not enough to feed everyone on the first day of a business conference the best part was the fact on the first morning of a two night stay there was no hot water available (not just my room but the entire hotel, in the middle of winter in Canberra) I did receive an email apologising for the inconvenience AFTER my stay and to inform me that the issue has since been resolved......... unless it is for a work conference or function I do not think i would stay on a personal level

This hotel is in a good location easy walk everywhere and we enjoyed our stay. Great bar and also we had a really dinner on one of the nights. Spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy and I was a big fan of the pillows and Kevin Murphy amenities. Excellent arrangement for parking and chromecast on the big tv.

This hotel is so quirky and so Canberra. Not only is it's theme fun, but it is of a very high standard. The staff are lovely, and efficient and the rooms are very comfy with lots of added quirks. This is the only place I stay when in the nation's capitol!
