We have stayed at Grevillea Lodge on three occasions along with our Staffie (who is no longer with us :-( It is hard to write anything better than what has already been written. Merrill is an excellent, unobtrusive and laid back host.... and a great cook! The breakfasts are delicious and you can choose a light or full cooked meal...

We have visited with Merrill over 20 times at Grevillea Lodge over the last 5 years and found her your ideal hostess, very informative and helpful. It is our no 1 pet friendly accommodation in Canberra, whether it is for a week or just overnight, the accommodation is always clean, well appointed and has well maintained facilities that have been...

Think of it as staying with extended family that have a purpose built wing of their home. Merrill has the perfect balance of a hostess. She doesn't fuss or crowd you, just seems to know when she can help and make you feel special. Beautiful breakfast! Highly recommend and hope to stay again if back in Canberra in the future.

During a recent visit to see family and friends in Canberra, we enjoyed a relaxing four nights at Grevillea Lodge. We originally planned to stay three nights but extended our stay by a night because we enjoyed it so much. Merrill really put a lot of time and effort into making Grevillea Lodge -- and our stay -- comfortable. From...

One of the best B&Bs I've stayed ever. Not because it was the fanciest I've ever stayed in (it is beautiful though, with a lovely garden, and perfect facilities!), but because Merrill is a wonderful host who gets out of her way to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay in Canberra. Literally! I didn't have a car and...

My husband, mother, daughter, dog and I stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. Merrill was very helpful and friendly, and made us all feel very welcome including our dog. The breakfast was lovely, we had the continental breakfast and it was a feast. It was excellent value for money, it was cheaper than staying in a motel...

Wonderful unit provided exactly what we needed, room for my husband and our daughter, and her grandparents too! We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the extras from our generous host (including cookies on arrival!) and appreciated the extra space, deck and garden that we wouldn't have gotten in a motel. Shops, restaurants and a supermarket are nearby, and the lodge...

I couldn't imagine a nicer place to stay especially if you are wanting to have a holiday and take your dogs along with you. We hired the whole guest house at a very reasonable price and took our puppy along. Grevillea Lodge is lovely and comfortable and Merrill's garden is beautiful (our puppy loved it!). We all felt completely at...

This is a very comfortable B&B with modest rates. We liked the friendliness of Merrill, the owner. and all the services and facilities provided. There is a guest kitchenette where you can do all your meals if you like or you can have a continental or cooked breakfast provided. We packed a lunch and ate at the various venues across...

The home baked goodies and quality tea and coffee are the perfect welcome to your stay in Canberra. Whilst its a little ways out of the city, everything about our stay was extremely comfortable, in my view comparable to a 5 star hotel in finishings (down to the quality tea bags and Milo in the cupboard). Merrill is extremely hospitable...
