Just returned after a week at this hotel. Really pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews - hotel lovely and clean, gorgeous sea view room with views over the bay, the food was good and always found something to eat - drinks literally on tap - all self service, the wine and beer most agreeable Lovely beach front location - sea shoes are a must!! Not a sandy beach and the walk into the water can be painful! Weather - scorchio hitting 36 degrees on a couple Of days Insects - mosquitos were out to play so take repellant!! Overall lovely holiday, great hotel and location, staff attentive Will be much better when Tivot airport opens for flights from the U.K. - travelling through the borders to get to and from the airport takes a while Will definitely revisit Montenegro when tivot airport opens and before this lovely little gem of a country is over developed with hotels!!…
We have just arrived back having stayed for 2 weeks. Leaving behind the madness of Britain's airports landing and passing through dubrovnik airport was a different ball game altogether very efficient. Transfer went smoothly other than the border crossing which seemed to take a eternally long time. Arrived at the delfin reception was great and the service we received from the reception staff through out our stay was excellent. Room was clean and tidy and cleaned every day. The restaurant was clean and tidy offering a range of hot and cold meals a majority of the meals rely on pork and chicken which seems strange in say lasagne or moussaka. But what makes this hotel is its staff who work so hard. We travelled with tui but there were not too many holiday makers from the UK so no excursions on offer from them but the hotel has its own excursions on offer although mainly French tour guide they made sure that we were not left out and thoroughly enjoyed our excursions to dubrovnik and tara canyon. For trips closer to the hotel the local bus service runs at the end of the road and places like hercl novi kotor and bud budva are easily reached using this method. My only complaint other than the over use of pork and chicken is the cocktail quality and the evening entertainment but there are plenty of other bars within easy reach if you get fed up. Montenegro is a must visit country and sooner rather than later before the development takes over and ruins some amazing sights and sounds and like every were else tourists trap can be a bit more expensive than away from maddening crowds.…
I stayed here with my family for two weeks in the middle of June. The hotel was immaculate and all the staff were faultless they couldn't do enough to help us the entire trip two that deserve special mention are Lazar & Zana. The pool area is amazing with beautiful views of the bay. The food is very varied with lots of options for everyone. The boneless chicken thighs are to die for as are the potatoes in tomato sauce
Just spent 2 glorious weeks here food good rooms excellent great location and all the staff were very professional special thanks to zana who always had a smile and was very helpful Also the manager Diana was always approachable and always sorted anything to make our trip enjoyable thank you
Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and professional. Great position and the view. Plenty of various delicious food and drinks. The room was very tide and cosy and comfortable. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
Had the mist amazing stay in this hotel. clean room, beautiful sea view, friendly staff and buffet selection to die for. Really enjoyed exploring the bay from this gorgeous hotel. Thank you hotel Delfin for organising the excursions.
A hotel that rightly and proudly bears 4 stars next to its name. Hygiene and cleanliness are at an enviable level. The staff is always smiling, cheerful and very hospitable. Food varied and very tasty. every day different specialties and always freshly prepared. The beach is beautiful, tidy and spacious. The pools are beautiful, with clean warm water. Spa and gym nicely equipped. A playroom for children is very safe, with a variety of games and puzzles for children of different ages who are cared for by caring staff. All in all, a beautiful vacation, a beautiful experience and of course I would recommend everyone to come and visit Bijela and of course to stay in the best hotel "Dolphin".
We really enjoyed the beachside location and all the wonderful food and drinks laid on as part of the all-inclusive offer. The hotel staff were friendly and communicative. They went out of their way to explain all the dishes to the fussier members of our group. The views were fantastic and the bay is a hidden gem. Most of us booked in a massage and the trip around the bay was unforgettable! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun just a couple of hours from London. See you next year Hotel Delfin!
What a lovely hotel great location came with the family food good great selection rooms couldn't be faulted all staff were very professional and welcoming there were 2 except staff members who went above and beyond Zana who always made sure everything was as we wanted her service was excellent and lazar really looked after us at the bar
I will start by saying how lovely and acomodating the staff are at this hotel, they really can't do enough to please, and they keep the hotel immaculate; two mebers of staff that really went the extra mile and that spring to mind are the waitress Zana and the waiter Lazar, they were really so helpful in every aspect. The interior designer of the hotel deserves a pat on the back, it really has been done well, from the bedrooms down to the detail of the main eareas. What a beautiful setting; it is on the most beautiful bay of the Adriatic and is picture post card perfect, at night the bay lights up with the fairy light out look of the other towns dotted around the bay. If your looking for five star plus of the Caribbean or the Maldives then that's what you should be paying for. Our crowd ranges from eighty to eighteen and there are eight of us , my father has very kindly brought us all away for my mother's birthday; there are two twenty something vegetarians with us who have had no trouble finding food that is good. The salds are well presented and fresh, there are lovely pasta dishes and piza every day. There is a lot of chicken and pork, but then again what do you expect for the price you paid. I have read comments on here that say there is no where to go in the evening if you want to drink or eat outside the hotel, that is rubbish the places to eat and drink within walking distance of the hotel are plentiful, they are however more expensive close to the hotel, but your on holiday, take a bus to the various beautiful towns and villages and live a little, you will find that it is less expensive and worth the adventure. I'm going to stop now, just ramber what you are paying for and ramber that being Politness goes a long way…
