We stayed here while walking The East Highland Way and it was very luxurious after a very long walk. We had a large room and bathroom with sparkly floor. There were nice touches like home made biscuits, proper coffee and dressing gowns. We had our evening meal here which was beautifully cooked and ate it while watching all the wild... More

I cant agree more with previous reviews - we found The Rumblie an absolute delight on our fab walk thru the highlands. Lifts from & back to the trailhead, a warm welcome, fab food, spotless, comfy & spacious facilities - nothing too much trouble or a problem for the hardworking Fiona & Simon! We even had sunshine to end our... More

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to welcome you. You certainly had some fab weather for your walk along the East Highland Way and you were the 1st guests of the year to have beers in the garden. We try to "arrange" for one of the red squirrels to make an appearance so pleased it popped... More

Having been out tenting and bothying for four nights I was ready for some comfort. The Rumblie exceeded any B & B I've stayed in Scotland in terms of quality, comfort and great personal service. The room was very comfortable with a great shower, and the evening meal and morning breakfast were outstanding. The icing on the cake was having... More

Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure & a joy to welcome to The Rumblie. Simon does have rather a lot of whisky to choose from, so introducting you to ones had not sampled before was a pleasure. Sounds like the walk to Newtonmore went well and we very much look forward to seeing again. More
