I stayed here on Sunday 21/8. The pub / hotel is quaint and in a quiet village. The rooms are exactly as you'd expect from a historic pub - comfortable, chintzy, and perfectly serviceable. One issue with the room was that the window had been left open ( being such an old place, there is no aircon). However , being... More

This review is for the Sunday Lunch we had. It was a carvery with plenty of variety in meat and veg, and you served yourself. It was home cooked and straight from the kitchen and was hot, There was a regular plate size and also a smaller one for children and Senior Citizens. If you don't want a roast, then... More

The location is really good right on the main street, however, there is some road noise at night. You have easy access to the coast & the National Trust properties nearby, as well as Kings Lynn. The staff were friendly & helpful. There is a great beer garden at the back. The food was excellent & I would recommend the... More

You'll have to go some way to top this pub. It has everything; village setting, unspoilt interior full of beams, snugs and settles. Beautiful flowers outside (well done Colin), beer garden, ample parking, real ales and the most wonderful food. The landlady (Flyss) knows her job perfectly and prepares great food. In the summer there is a lunchtime cold buffet; crab,... More

My family and I booked the 2 double rooms and a single for the weekend as this looked like a proper old fashion pub with some decent rooms above and the write ups on the food seemed great. We were not disappointed at all, greeted with a great friendly welcome and shown to our 3 clean and perfectly adequate rooms.... More

Stayed a night here as we were visiting family in the area. We chose this B&B as it was a little cheaper than another a few miles away (Narford) which messed us about. We found our room (number 3) to be clean and cosy and the bed comfortable. Ours had an en suite but I understand the cheaper rooms share... More

The Crown Inn Close by to the NHS Queen Elizabeth main hospital where I had a meeting. Warm reception. Cosy room. Plenty of character with low beams etc. Just had the sandwich for my evening meal and excellent it was too. Wi-Fi in the bar area strong but not so in the bedrooms – very week and kept dropping out... More

I was a little disappointed today with the quality of service at the Crown Inn. There appeared to be a lack of attention to detail when being seated. I wouldn't mind if the pub was full and busy but there was very few people actually seated. No explanation of what food was on, no menus were given and we did... More
