Spent a week here at the end of August with my mother and we both enjoyed our stay here. Beautifully cooked 'Kentish' breakfasts to start the day, make sure you try Simons home made jams. Then two pubs within walking distance for supper, the Castle just back up the road and for the slightly more adventurous the Bull in Brenchley...

What a beautiful setting and a perfect host. I had 4 fabulous days here, enjoying all the walks around the area whilst being thoroughly spoilt by Simon. Nothing was too much bother and everything that you could possibly need was in the room. Simon provided local information, helping me organize my activities - nothing is too much effort for him....

Me and my wife stayed at the cottage on the day of our wedding . The cottage is beautiful and in a gorgeous location with breathtaking views. The room had everything we needed and couldn't fault anything. Simon is a wonderful host and he also knocks up a cracking breakfast with local produce. I would definitely recommend staying here and...

David and Hazel, It was a great pleasure to have you staying after your very special day and I look forward to welcoming you back, perhaps on your first anniversary, as other couples have done. Best wishes for your future together.

My wife and I toured Kent for 10 days in May prior to leaving for a cruise of Norway sailing out of Dover. We stayed in three excellent bed and breakfast accommodations while taking day tours of the manors and gardens of Kent. For four nights we stayed at the Hononton Cottage, and although we rated one other B &...

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and that we were your favorite B & B in Kent. Your review was so detailed and everything a potential guest would want. My aim is too make my guests feel at home in the Cottage and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible in this lovely part of Kent.

A great find and the perfect place to start our 35 day b&b tour of England and Wales. Tucked away at the end of a country lane and nestled on the edge of a large apple orchard, the cottage is well-situated - near enough to the amenities of Tunbridge Wells and the sites of the surrounding Kent district but secluded...

We had a wedding to attend nearby and wanted somewhere relaxing so that we could make a weekend of it. I'd echo what everyone else says about Simon - lovely host and nothing is too much trouble - he helped us with taxis, and even lent me some cufflinks as I forgot to pack any. We had the room with...

Second time to visit Hononton Cottage and this time we got to spend 2 nights. Simon was once again a most charming and welcoming host, catering to all our requirements. He also kindly made a reservation for us at The Castle Inn for a lovely dinner. The cottage and spring garden is as beautiful as before and the breakfasts fresh...

I am so glad you enjoyed your second visit to the cottage. You will be pleased to know that the king sized bed in now in place so Ian can chose either room in future. Looking forward to welcoming you back next year, hopefully with your friends.

We recently stayed here meeting up with friends. Can't really add any more to what has already been said. Were welcomed by Simon when we arrived with a pot of tea on the lawn with beautiful views across the orchards. As it was Bank Holiday Monday Simon had reserved us a table at The Castle and even drove us there....

Only got to stay one night at this lovely place which is a real shame as I did not get to enjoy all the facilities such as the lovely garden and views. Would highly recommend this place it has everything you could want and more, even chocs and sherry in room. I was made to feel very welcome by Simon...

We only stayed here for one night and it was flying visit - we will definately be back to enjoy Hononton Cottage when we aren't in such a rush. Simon was very welcoming, helpful and attentive without being in your face - he even gave us a lift to a local pub after we enquired about taxis! The communal rooms,...

So glad you enjoyed your brief stay - your comments make our 'job' so much more rewarding. Look forward to seeing you again when perhaps you will have time to explore our lovely county of Kent where there is so much to see.
