Stayed at this hostel last year just before the season started getting busy and have only just realised we forgot to leave a review. Peter was the most hospitable host we could have asked for and only a few days into our stay someone I would call our friend. He ensured we had the best time not just at his...

The hostel is build around a garden, the breakfast is tasty and abundant. The kitchen is open on the dining area that create a good atmosphere to meet other travellers and make new friends. The staff is the cherry on top of the cake: simply great! I should have stayed few days more :)

This hostel is perfect! Having booked an initial three nights my boyfriend and I ended up extending for an extra three. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant attached to the hostel serves delicious, cheap meals and the breakfast included is beautifully presented and excellently varied every morning. For a little extra price we had our own...

Im staying at Abaquarhostel right now and I cannot recommend it more. A laid back environment with awesome staff. The rooms are clean and the grounds are beautiful! Also the big speakers they have and let guests use is a huge plus. A perfect place to come and relax after a day at one ofthe beautiful boipeba beaches!

We recently spent 5 nights here after only planning for 2. The hostel is really well looked after with an amazing garden, the kitchen is great (and soon to be made even better). It was very quiet when we were there but I can imagine it being hugely sociable when there are a lot of guests as there are many...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Abaquar during the quieter season (October) and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. As it was quiet Peter moved us from our dorm into the nicest double room we have had so far in South America. The hostel has been really well thought out and is well taken care of. The breakfast was...

They can recommend you nice beaches and traides as well as good restaurants. Also they are very open and we spend many nights talking with them. The...

We stayed five nights in Abaquar Hostel on Boipeba and had a great time. The hostel is super beautiful, with all its hammocks and seats beneath coconut palmtrees and chocolate trees it is like a tropical paradise, very quiet and relaxed. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean and they even provide a towel for you. Breakfast is simply...
