The place is ok if you love the nature and staying in the middle of nowhere and being totally reliable on private transport. But we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered 3 dinners and 1 lunch. Where were a group of 12 people staying 5 nights in october So 3 times we were served pork quite fat , low quality and taken from the freezer. The side dishes were potatoes, carrots, beetroot, lettuce served without any dressing. Beetroot was taken from the jar. Once they served pasta with lentil. Deserts were cheap and tasteless. And for this cheap, low quality and tasteless food they charged us 10 eur per person!!!!!!. Except 1 dinner which they charged us 5 eur because they were late with dinner and this is a real price. If you are keen on pork and basic local vegetables, and paying 10 eur , you can stay here.

If you like us got late in the evening from Saaremaa island back to the mainland by the ferry it could be a good idea to stay in Algalika for the night. In my opinion the guesthouse is not so easy to find if you don't have navigation system but it's worth to try:-) A secluded spot on the banks of the Baltic Sea is very positive emotions-wise. Everything is in good shape and the attic on the second floor is very cosy. Baltic Sea is just 50 meters away. Wondrful hosts. We actually were sure that our option didn't include breakfast but we were offered it in the morning for free (too bad we ate on our own to this moment:-)

this place is a little in the middle of nowhere, but is a great place to see nature, very isolated, right at the beach, lots of birds. It is not a hotel but a place belonging to a family living not far (but not close by), so one need to make sure that they call the landlady before arriving - otherwise you will find an empty, locked place as we did.Staff are very helpful, and responsive, The place is very nice and clean and has all the needed amenities. highly recommended
