I was supposed to be telling the manager how bad the cleaning of the room was. Bathroom was dirty. I could not tell as there was no one from management in the floor. I still recommend this hotel as prices are acceptable.

Passing through Slovenia and working a day in Kranj, this hotel was recommended to me and it was Exactly what I needed. Efficient, Clean, safe-enough parking, and OK breakfast. Good value for money.
I made the reservation by phone, a few day days in advance, and they didnt even ask form my creditcard. On my day of arrival, I forgot my habitual call-to-confirm around 16:00 and when I arrived at 22:00 I realized this hotel was quite Busy.
In fact, this hotel was Fully booked due to some tennis-event. But despite this, they had kept my room and I even got a motorcycle-rider discount. Thumbs up: Many chaing-hotels would have sold my “non-guaranteed” room by 1800 to some eager sports-fan.
The hotel was Fine: Clean, Friendly and Efficient. Wifi was Good. Breakfast was adequate, but very busy. Personnel speaks english, is friendly and efficient. All in all good value for money, and Excellent service.

I just had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Comfortable room, super clean, perfect scenery outside of window. There is the best lovely mountain view from my room. If it's possible, will select the hotel for next visit in Slovenia.

We have booked to stay in this hotel for 3 days, but we didn’t manage to stay and I’ll explain why! Our flight has been delayed for 1 hour, so we have arrived late in the night at tge hotel, around 1am. When we tried to get in the hotel, we had a huge surprise! Nobody was there to open the door to let us in!!! First of all, there is nowhere written that they are opened until midnight and open at 5am!!! Second thing, how it’s possible to have people checked in in the hotel and nobody from administration to be there?! In case of a major situation, I just don’t want to imagine what may happen! We had our car (that we have rented from airport l) and we managed to find another hotel! We never return to Marinsec again! First impression- huge disappointment!!!

Nice hotel in a little town near Ljubliana, friendly people, rigth menu. Available wellness center, bowling. Very good grilled meat dishes. Available large parking. It vey simply to reach it by the highway. Suggested!

We visited the bowling and I have to say I was dissapointed. Not with the place (great bowling, good maintained) but the waiter. I am sorry but it is not our foult that you work Sundays. Rude to the children. Yelling at them. Was not at his work place. Was missing half of the time we were there.

We had our breakfast there. On that morning, we had almost 50 people but we did not wait very long. Both the food and service were good. The surroundings are very nice with big trees and a beautiful garden.

I slept one night in this hotel and all what I can say is average. Clean , comfy, without traffic ( good for sleep quality), with average breakfast is all what you get. Ljubljana is only 25km from this village so, if you are looking for cheap hotel for overnight, this one can be interesting.

The hotel is clean, tidy and inexpensive (€47 b&b). The beds are built in, but warm enough in the March snow. Sleeping was not a problem after several glasses of Lasko (green label beer). The bathroom was in good condition with a good warm shower.
The restaurant was listed as a pizzeria, but with a much more extensive and full menu. Even if you are hungry, the meat platter may be more than you can manage. The food was most enjoyable. The drinks were inexpensive too. There is a small bar downstairs with the ten pin bowling lanes.
Having previously stayed in Kraj at Ales and at Kokra Brdo – Marinsek is much better than the Ales. It is cheaper than Kokra, but a star less. I think I prefer Kokra, but would not object if I were to rebook at Marinsek.

I stayed for 5 nights only cause everything was full in Ljubljana, first impression like your walking into retirement home waited long time for check-in. When I got to my room it was absaloytly discussing as pictures shows. I left toilet paper in the toilet and toothpaste the sink in the mornings and when I came back in the afternoon it was still there but the cleaner made the bed which was BTW for children. I had dinner few times in the restaurant and the food was OK blend and dull but still OK the service was good and tge staff were very friendly. Parking was free and never an issue, I would not recommend at all.
