I have been on business trip to Czech Republic and looked for accommodation, not far from the Northern outskirts of Prague. Resort Svet fulfilled all criteria (convenient location not far from the motorway, reasonable price) but what I found on site exceeded all my expectations! The place is unique - the rooms (or rather apartments, as mine had two levels) have no numbers, only country names, and their decor is 100% consistent with the description. I stayed in "Brazil" and there was big statue of "Christ the Redeemer" in the living room, dozens of pictures and artifacts from Brazil on the walls - even in the bathroom there was a shirt of Brazilian national football team. And it is not only about the room, as there is big collection of African mask and samurai swords on the wall of restaurant room. I was so intrigued by this place that when checking out, I asked the receptionist for a few words of explanation about the interior design of the entire facility. It turned out that the vast majority of these artifacts are original. The owner of the facility travelled a lot, collected various souvenirs, and when he built this resort, he simply made the decor from what he brought, and he named the apartments after the countries he visited (apart from Brazil, I also saw apartments there: Australia, Greece, Japan, Peru). Great idea!
My description would not be complete if I did not write about the service - very nice and polite, with a "no problem" approach. I can only regret that I stayed at the resort for one night.

The "Die Welt" resort in Auschitz (Úžice), just 20 km north of Prague, offers "world trips" to Brazil, Tahiti, Jordan, India, the USA, Thailand and many other countries through individually and originally furnished country apartments with great attention to detail. In our "China" apartment, a tasteful and extremely cozy atmosphere in red tones was created, from the tile artwork in the bathroom to a huge carved wooden dragon, typical Chinese paper lamps and porcelain to the several meter long illuminated Great Wall on the wall. We enjoyed the generous space with a wooden staircase up to the sleeping area for our two grandchildren, who were also completely delighted. The immense range of activities and things to do in the area also contributed to this: here again, with great attention to detail, there is a replica of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado, a pyramid, the Sphinx, a playground, animal enclosures with kangaroos, llamas, goats, a huge mini golf area in the summer months, lots of partly covered seating and, and, and... The location within an unsightly old commercial site is no longer a problem once you are in the resort. When the weather is nice, you can easily spend a whole day in the resort with the children. Nearby Prague offers almost unlimited other options. We really had NOTHING to criticize - the breakfast was also varied, plentiful and delicious. We will definitely come back!

Ms Šárka and her team were wonderfully helpful from the very beginning of our planning. We booked a table for our wedding lunch with family, altogether with a delicious cake! Food was really yummy, and all the girls at our service were extremely patient when we asked for a change in the menu, nothing was a problem. Also, I need to point out, that the table setting and decorations were very nice, and we had privacy for the whole time. I truly recommend this multi-purpose place, where we have already been multiple times, and it has been a great experience. Thank you all so much! LF

I regret my stay at this resort. It was a bad experience for us. In search of the playground, due to a misunderstanding, I went through the wrong gate. Apparently my 4-year-old daughter and I entered the private property of the owner of the resort. We did not notice this. The owner came towards us somewhat aggressively and asked what we were doing. He then continued to make his point in a mocking manner. Apparently we had missed a sign. He wondered how we could be so stupid. I don't understand this owner's attitude and behavior at all. How can you treat the guests of your own resort this way? I also feel sorry for the kangaroos, who are locked up in very small enclosures. My advice: stay away from here and look for a nice stay in the Prague area where they actually care about their guests. The other staff were polite and helpful.

This place is simply great! All rooms offer a different topic, e.g. Greece, India, Peru, ... The rooms are really big, and very clean! The staff is really friendly and always willing to help. For those who want to have the breakfast more early than 8:15 they offer to put the breakfast in the fridge of the room, great!!!

We stayed at Pension svet one night after a birthday celebration of our friend. We have been really surprised with beautiful design and nice furniture in our Mexico room. Pension staff was friendly and tried to do everything for guests. The only shadow was breakfast without scrambled eggs, but everything other was perfect:-)

Very polite communication. Helpful, kind reception staff. Location is nice on one hand due to the lake and golf course but not that nice due to the industrial buildings in the neighborhood. Close to highway. Our African room was fine, very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Warm welcome note on our table. Clean, big apartman. I do not like animal trophies in general but my son liked them. No reception during the night. Breakfast was OK. There is a kinder room next to the restaurant. Price is way worth the place.
