Location is 10 out of 10 even if you don't ski it is only a few hundred yards to walk to the lift. We booked it for location but after reading poor reviews were very worried, but everything went swimmingly we arrived and our rooms were ready. Breakfast was good, afternoon tea looked excellent, I didn't eat as I am...

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Turquoise. We arrived with low expectations based on earlier poor reviews but were extremely happy with everything. I believe the chef had recently changed and we found all the meals to be of excellent quality, variety, quantity and presentation. The tarte tatin one evening was restaurant quality! Cooked breakfast was...

This was my second visit this year to the Hotel Turquoise, my first only six weeks ago. It has a great location, ski in and out is superb. The rooms are basic but has everything you need incl hairdryer, tele, shower, bath etc. with great views both sides... We were a large group staying at this hotel between March 19 and March 24, 2017 and while the very young and friendly hotel staff did their best, their inexperience showed. But by far the biggest disappointment was the food, which was so poorly cooked that many of our party had stomach upsets, It was a very windy week, and...

Having stayed here last year, we were aware of the 'challenges' that may be faced. All I can say is that things have improved vastly, and that we had a great time. We returned as the hotel offers a great social set up, but we had previously experienced issues (at times) with some of the food. Not this year, it...

Having read earlier reviews we were nervous about what to expect. These reviews had slated the food so we expected to eat out each evening. We were pleasantly surprised. Don't expect a gourmet experience but the food was good, varied and plentiful. Breakfast was both continental and cooked provided quickly and hot. Tea and coffee available all day. Fresh afternoon...

We arrived as a group of six with a lot of reservations having read previous reviews. These proved to be completely unfounded, the staff were all extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. The rooms very clean, the bedroom area was more than adequate and a lot bigger than more expensive hotels. The food was excellent throughout the entire week, a cooked...

Having booked a weeks skiing / snow boarding at La Plagne, we wanted a nice fairly small all inclusive hotel. And I don't think we could have picked better! The Neilson run hotel Turquoise in Belle Plagne is truly ski out ski in, it is comfortable, the food is good and the staff are excellent. We can fully recommend this...

We were a large group of 32 and spent a week at Hotel Turquoise in January. It was so disappointing. It was a cold week but you don't expect to be cold inside the hotel, we were! The rooms were cold and the social areas were cold. They had only one portable heater to borrow. Hotel nor rep responded to...
