We burnt our back in the shower, everyday the shower becomes 60 degrees, you have to jump out other wise you burn yourself. The bed was sagged, we slept on the ground because it was terrible The rest is good
The building itself is fine, with ok access to slopes and shops etc . My main issue is despite requesting rooms near each other we arrived late evening to be told we had one room on floor 4 and the other on floor 9. In order to get from room to room you would need to access 2 lifts 50m apart . However the staff were prepared to do us a big favour🤡 and ignore the same request from a different family if we paid 65 euros for rooms together. Which i begrudgingly paid Not nice for the other family but I am sure the Directors of Pierrre Vacance will put the money towards a better booking/room allocation system.
Great location in Belle Plagne really enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful and apartment modern. Easy to get to Spa shop, staff remained there when we arrived late due to airport divert. Would stay again.
Very pleasant stay - appreciated ability to drop off our luggage & go skiing before roomvaleting complete (nominally 4-5pm); check-in process effective despite large numbers of people turning up at once ; morning bread order to Reception very nice. We were a couple using a nominally 4-bed (Crystal “studio”) apartment but the double bed was a squeaky fold-out sofa-bed in the main living space so we used the single mattresses from the separate bunk-bed room on the main room floor instead. They were very comfortable. LOTS of storage space - multiple shelves & wardrobe hanging & corners for bags. Four adults would have been fine. There's nine floors split between two lifts at opposite ends of the apartments servicing floors 1-5 & 5-9 and a long walk between, so use ordinary shoes for that bit. The unseated ski & boot room is on level 5 with a short indoor walk to the piste via level 7 or a longer walk to the Belle Plagne bubble. One downside of the apartments being very close to the town centre is the late night party-goers - bring ear-plugs if you’re a light sleeper! Otherwise, well-appointed self-catering apartment with good microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker. Sink, fridge, & dishwasher all worked well. Bath/shower/sink are separate from the toilet. Good control on the heating, well-insulated rooms but easy to get cool at night. Overall very pleased with our second visit using these apartments & would certainly go again.…
Just returned from a great week in Belle Plagne. This is your typical self catering resort accommodation. It isn’t spotless, but it is perfectly acceptable. Pros - great friendly staff, daily fresh breads and pastries via reception, reasonable free WiFi, reasonable piste access, from ski locker approx 100 yards to a foot lift then 100 yards to piste, easy access to bars, shops, supermarkets, well stocked kitchen, 4 hobs, microwave/grill dishwasher. Cons - to be honest I think most of the cons were related to our specific room (405). In effect the ski lockers and so piste access were directly above our room, but due to lift/stair access we had to walk the entire length of the building to the stairs and then the entire length of the building to the ski lockers. The balcony was no more than a concrete slab accessible from ground level, even though we were the 4th floor due to terrain. TBH if the balcony door had a key we’d have had far better piste/ski locker access. Generally we only use the balcony for beer chilling but, due to the layout had any one wanted to help themselves they could have easily. The accommodation was compact, there were 2 of us in a room that could sleep 4 (bunks and a double) but I’d not want more than 2 in the room Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely, great resort great location, but I would specify that I didn’t want room 405, and ideally would request something on the 5th floor! Also, as an extra example of staff/communication/customer service. One if the party left his hat in the room after we checked out, realised when we got outside into the cold, but unfortunately transfer was long before reception opened so keys were posted into the box. He emailed asking if it was found could it be sent on in return for P&P. By the time we landed back in the uk he’d had a reply saying it had been found and asking for the address to send it to.…
Great accommodation and the ski resort is superb. Will definitely be going back. Rooms were very spacious all in all a great holiday. Quite expensive on the slopes but to be expected. La Plagne is a great plac3 to ski.
Clean and compact, we were on floor 3 so have to go up to 5 for the ski room and then 7 for the ski in/out. Would be ideal to be based on floor 7. Can order for the bakery and collect at 8am which is nice. No hassle at all, good position, helpful staff. No oven but there was a microwave, hob, large fridge and a dishwasher.
Had never used Pierre & Vacance so did not know what to expect. However we were really impressed with how spacious our apartment for 4/5 people was. It was well equipped and the staff were lovely. Easy access to the slopes and Belle Plagne is great
We stayed for a week with a young family. The accommodation is well put together, kitchen well stocked with equipment and the location was fantastic. Short walk through the accommodation to the piste - pretty much ski in, ski out. Pull out bed was a little lumpy but otherwise top marks all round. We took advantage of ordering our lift passes through Pierre et Vacances which was really good value
We went with Crystal had a Type C Apartment (35m²). We arrived around 12pm after transfer from Chambery. Short walk to the apartment block after bus drop-off – 2 mins max. On arrival the accommodation wasn't ready (can’t have it until 5pm) & be aware they take credit card details on arrival for damages etc. We were able to store our luggage in the room opposite the desk, along with other travellers too. This enabled us to get going with the skiing immediately as we had the full Paradiski pass which gives you an extra half day free on arrival. The apartment was great – Level 4. Warm, plenty of hot water, good space. full sized fridge. Pans as expected though only the frying pan was non-stick. They were oddly located in the cupboard below the TV! Kettle /toaster/ coffee maker. Microwave but no oven or grill. No wooden spoons or plastic jug - good job I took our own to make hot chocolate for our flask. No salt/ oil /sugar etc left from previous people - shame. Cleaning pack contained small washing-up liquid bottle /small general surface cleaner bottle/ pan scrubber/ few dishwasher tabs. 2 tea-towels supplied. 1 toilet roll only supplied. Hall closet contained a vacuum cleaner and an airer (plus a safe though we didn't use it). Bedroom was a good size with ample closet space. 2 bedside lights. Bed was comfy – possible memory foam (?), but let-down by awful mattress protector. Duvet was a decent king size and not too thick. Sheets / pillow-cases & duvet covers included. The single pillow was rather lumpy / flat and had no pillow protector (which is a yuk factor for me!). They could do with renewing and supplying 2 for each person. I used my travel-pillow instead. No spare blankets etc. Towels were included plus bathmat. Bread & pastries could be ordered at reception for the following day (pay cash on collection) TV was awful so didn't watch it. All French channels from what we browsed. Wifi wasn't good initially until my husband got a different code. Not a terrific speed all the same, so go with data! Ski lockers (included and same key as apartment) had internal shelving & were in the building on level 5. By exiting the building from level 7 (take the lift next to he locker room) you could access the piste run behind the apartment block. The door from level 7 exited to a wooden walkway, and as long as you went LEFT along the back wall you'd reach a door that went into an underground car park. Definitely odd, but taking 3 half flight of stairs you exited directly onto a ski run past the apartment blocks on the next level in Belle Plagne. This led directly down to Bellecote. (If you want the Roche de Mio lift in Belle Plagne then exit the door near the ski lockers and walk!) The shops are close but Belle Plagne is a bit of a warren so spend some time getting your bearings. Took us a while to find the Gondola the first time. The Spar is fantastic for food. Head for the cooked meals counter - we had a chicken in mushroom sauce with roast potatoes one night - cheaper than eating out and just reheat in the microwave. Excellent dauphinoise potatoes as well to go with a rotisserie chicken another night. Would also recommend the pizzas from the Le Cheyenne Cafe. The Matafan restaurant serves the most fabulous cheese fondue – make a table reservation as as it gets full. Overall I really enjoyed our stay, fantastic skiing in La Plagne and les Arcs. We’re planning to return next year in January and will definitely stay in Les Gemeaux again.…
