Lovely resort with nice staff, beautiful villas and a great and big breakfast. Pool with swing, water slide and inflatables for children on the water. A great restautant. Highly recommended for families
All the rooms are basically private villas with 1 to 3 bedrooms. Slightly dated yes but for 2000 a night great value. Pool outside every room and a massive central pool with slide and inflatable obstacle course. Jacuzzi and BBQ on roof top terrace of each room. Restaurants not over priced and happy hour drinks are cheap enough. Location a bit remote, 1km from nearest beach and Hua Hin is 40 min drive. They do hire scooter and cars if needed and have a bus to the beach and to Hua Hin 3 times a day. I found the food good quality, and staff pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately due to Covid very few people were around, but it meant we had pools to ourselves. I preferred this to the Novotel in Cha Am, and would come again out of the rainy season.
We had a fantastic stay here in Oriental beach pearl the pool was wonderful for the kids to play in and the slide was good for all sizes really recommend it for anyone and all ages. The houses are very nice and an affordable price I believe my money was well spend. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
First you see is the sign with 4 stars on their way of falling of the wall. Same with the houses- old and not maintained- things literally fall apart. After complaint we got to see other houses- the same with all of them. Unhelpful staff especially in the restaurant area, hardly any smiles to any guests. Small restaurant menu with hardly any healthy options, salads are poor with not enough energy. Poor breakfast that felt ’cheap’ with one very bored staff who does not like it when you ask for an omelette. Did not see them vacuum/clean the pool properly even once, the whole family got skin moved from hands due to what we believe was too much chlorine. Algiers in the pool on walls and lamps. Big potential on theese facilities but would probably need a new management team to fulfill guests expectations and make the staff members more happy at work. …
The kids had a ball at the oriental beach pearl. The resort has a giant slide which the kids spent hours most days on. The resort has everything you need and I'd give the staff and service 4 star but the cleanliness of the villa and quality of sheets etc would only get 2 star. On one occasion our sheets had holes all through them and I had to request they be changed, the other bedroom had torn doona covers. There were loads of power outages at the resort, the walls in the kitchen had food splatters and dirty marks all over them, the bathrooms had mould in around the base and some tiles. From the images I assumed the villas had ovens but apparently only a few have ovens as they are all privately owned. Was a pity as we had planned to cook a Christmas dinner but had to go to plan b. There are lots of good and bad at this resort. The breakfast was excellent. Happy hour had great prices too. The price was right, but do not expect 4 star. It is also a 40 min drive South of Hua Hin. Good for quietness but we stayed for 10 nights and the drive became a pain for the kids. …
Terrific resort with continuous pool out front of villa. Bbq,spa and outdoor dining on roof. Very unique experience and kids loved the big slide in main pool.Very spacious inside with modern fittings.
In a more rural/remote part of Thailand, this hotel was a welcomed luxury and we have spent a lovely week here. Communication was fantastic right from the beginning and Henrik was always so helpful and friendly to our family. The villas are huge!!! And we were lucky enough to have one that opened up onto the pool which was a bonus! The slide was great for our 2 sons and, although it was slow for some people, our boys managed to whizz down with ease (the trick is to use a ring/body board) Ok...so, yes, this hotel is quite far from the restaurants in the local bay so we are glad that we rented a motorbike with sidecar for the week! This is such a great way to see the local area and we were able to travel to other restaurants shops within a 10/15km area. This would be recommended if you were to make the most of this beautiful part of Thailand. We are sad to leave but hopefully will come back one day!…
Attractive price, far away from Hua Hin clock tower, if self drive then is acceptable, approx. 40 mins driving distance. So close to Phraya Nakhon cave, it's the reason why I choose to stay. room and facilities is good. definitely will stay again
This is a modern complex with water everywhere. The privately owned villas are modern, and spacious - with the rooftop jacuzzi and gas barbecue a fantastic bonus. There's nothing 'oriental' here though and nor is it on the beach. But if sleek white European style is your thing go for it. However, unless you have your own transport or hire one of their scooters, forget it as nothing is close by.
These villas have everything you need for a break, including roof terrace with jacuzzi. Area allows for lots of exploring. Staff of resort is incredibly friendly and punctual. Always ready to help woth transfers or questions about the area.
