Had stayed here in 2013 and accomodation was quite ok . Was back again recently and to be honest this place has gone down hill. First room was smelly (ie blocked drains ) and second was just as bad. Staff still very nice but food was terrible. Potatoes and chips etc tasted as if they had been cooked in some...

This is a small hotel, but with comfortable rooms and very nice staff. There are parking possibilities and nice park for a walk. No safe in the room. As we did not needed we did not ask if there is one at the reception. Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent. For the dinner, please take sufiecent time as team...

Great food at excellent value, good spacious quiet room, bug netting on windows for fresh air, nice walks through the park from the hotel front door, friendly service, excellent value. On a hot sunny summer's day the rooms can still be a bit stuffy.

Bruzis Park Hotel- a good place to stay in Vidzeme, Latvia. Smiltene, a little country town about 100 km from Riga, is a good place to stop for a dinner, or for the staying for the night, during the travel around Vidzeme, or on the way to Tartu, Estonia, or to St. Petersburg, Russia. Nice, small country hotel with a...

This is not 5* luxury but it's really a fantastic country hotel - warm, friendly and with everything you need for a comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. I had no particular reason to stay in Smiltene but I had to stay somewhere and this seemed as good a place as any. Well, what a surprise! The Bruzis Park...

It's a very quiet and beautiful place in the very heart of Latvia. Hotel has a limited amount of rooms, great sauna and a very good restaurant. There are also home made ciders and beers available in the restaurant. And don't forget to visit a park around the hotel!

The hotel was nice and very clean but overpriced in my opinion. For one night it was a little over 60 euros and for being in a very out of the way small town it was surprising. The breakfast was good, but again nothing exceptional. You also have to pay for use of the sauna.Service was fine, yet again nothing memorable...

Stayed here overnight in August & was pleasantly surprised. We arrived late at night so couldn't see how quaint the building looks. We were shown to our room which had two single beds pushed together to form a double & a small kiddy bed. The accommodation is basic but the rooms & en suite were spotlessly clean & the beds...
