Ammos Residence is located right on the beautiful,sandy beach Megali Ammos,only 8 km from the capital of Kefalonia Argostoli.Ιt has a lovely,large garden with playground for the kids and a nice gathering space with barbecue grill,built oven,refrigerator and dining tables for their parents.There is also private parking,internet access in the rooms and in all public areas and there are also free sunbeds and umbrellas for our guests to enjoy the sea and sun all day long. All of the apartments have modern furnishings,air conditioning,fully equipped kitchen and a private balcony or terrace with great sea and sunset view.

We booked a last minute holiday and came across Ammos Residence which looked lovely on the photos. When we arrived we were greeted with an iced coffee whilst we waited for the room to be ready, and the room itself was spacious with a comfy bed and everything you need. The apartment is literally on a beautiful beach with a great beach bar and was perfect for our stay, the location was great and despite being next to the airport the flights stopped overnight so did not disturb your sleep. Would come back again!

Nice accommodations and very friendly staff. The beach is one step from the hotel. We will stay here again. Make note that the airport is across the street but only a few flights in and out each day. I enjoyed watching the planes land and take off from the roof top. The snack shack on the beach is staffed by two wonderful, friendly ladies.

We stayed at the Ammos Residence last summer for ten days and we were fascinated by the place. The owners were very kind and helpful, they know the island and were ready to give us any tip we needed. They took such great care of us: recommending tours, arranging shuttles wherever we needed and making sure we were prepared for anything and everything on our trip! The rooms were great - we even had a proper kitchen fully equipped! I was really impressed by the size of the room –huge for greek standards– comfortable, very clean, nicely decorated and had a private balcony. The apartments are equipped with air-condition, free wi-fi in the common areas, barbeque area and free parking for guests. I leave the best for last... the view from the hotel was amazing – the sea was just a few meters away! You were able to swim whenever you wanted during the day or night! The sea was crystal clear and had that lovely turquoise colour. It was a great location where we could relax but close enough to the main sites that we could get there easily. I would strongly recommend staying at the Ammos Residence in Kefalonia for the fabulous apartments and warm, friendly staff!

Would have been nice if someone had,just once, checked to see we were ok. Apartment was completely flooded during the storm, no electric for 6 days/evenings and no water for a couple of days. We didn't fuss as other parts of the island were hit far far worse, but would really have appreciated the owner just to have popped his head in to see we were ok and to have updated us with what was happening. Appreciate there was a lot of damage outside the apartment, but as customers it did feel like we were forgotten about.

It is just incredible! I am very satisfied with the room, owners and with everything! Firstly, the apartment was exellent. Spacy rooms, nice furniture, tv, a/c,kitchen equipment, very clean room-bathroom, big balcony with nice table and chairs and the best? On the beach!!! It had nice sea view. At night the only thing you can hear is the sea's waves... It is the best apartment-hotel I have stayed until now!!! The only thing you must know is that without car you can't do anything because it hasn't busstop very close or restaurants. It has the airport very close and it is from the capital city Argostoli, 8 kms. It worths to visit it, I just recommend it!

We had a lovely holiday at Ammos Residence - stayed there for 4 nights. Owners where hospitable and friendly. - Rooms: clean, spacious and the kitchen was equipped with EVERYTHING (pots, pans, cuttlery, glasses, kettle, toaster etc.etc.). You have to ask for the room to be cleaned more often than once every three days (which is the default plan) - Access: Very easy to get to if you are landing to the airport (5 mins). 10-15min from the Argostoli port. 50min from the Sami port. - Parking: very easy - on premise. - Beach: very good sandy beach. You will enjoy a good swim.

Very spacious and clean. All equipment was helpful and I definitely enjoyed the stay there. Staff were very helpful and made the stay comfortable.The beach outside was very beautiful and resulted in a calming night sleep.

My partner and I stayed at Ammos residence for four nights. We were impressed upon arrival, spacious room, well equipped and offering a great sea view. We asked for a room on the top floor and Stelios the friendly and affable owner duly obliged placing us in room 33. It was very windy however on our first day and we were unable to spend any time on the balcony as a result. We put this down to a possible one off as Stelios said that blustery winds were the rarity not the norm. However the high winds continued throughout our stay making it literally impossible to spend any time on the balcony whatsoever. This consequently and unfortunately completely spoiled our stay as the reason we booked Ammos was to sit on the balcony and being able to fully relax and enjoy the sea view and marvellous sunsets. The proximity of the complex to the airport runway was also a bit of a shock causing some sober relection that we should have done our homework a bit better before booking. There were a lot of Italian families staying at the hotel and it appeared that this suited them implicitly and I can see the attraction it may have had for family units, using the on site barbecue, next to the beach etc. For this sad couple from Wales however, it felt like and had all the appeal of a hotel stopover, before boarding your plane back home.

Kefalonia was really a beautiful place and Ammos Residence made it perfect! We loved our room that had all the kitchen supplies you would ever need on a vacation, the bathroom was very nicely decorated and our balcony and the view overlooked the ocean and the beach is so close that you can hear the waves. Stelios, the hotel manager, was a very warm and nice person and who gladely told us about all the things you needed to see on the island. Thank you Ammos Residence and Stelios, we will definitely come back to Kefalonia and then Ammos Residence will be our first choice when we return to Kefalonia!

Stayed for a week 1st july to the 8th july. Had a great week at the Ammos Residence, the beach front location is beautiful. Apartments very well equipped and lovely and clean. Spiros and family were very welcoming and very helpful. Only problem a car is needed.

Hello Mr Torquay.
The distance to the closest restaurant is about 2 klms.The closest mini market for food and water is about 3 klms away.Although we have free bikes you can use to go shopping,eat or just for a ride.
There are dividers between the balconies yes.
Also in our terrratory we have our own beach bar but it will open after the 15 of June so if you want to come after this date you woud not have any problem to buy food and water without living the place or a need to rent a car.
We also can arrange a free suttle to the airport if you want.
