We came for a few days and where pleasantly suprised. The service was really good. Staff super ready to help in any way. Also in advising not to go the the gorge where it always rains in a none 4X4! Very clean all over. Food was above and beyond exellent. And prices very reasonable. Will come back for sure ( in a 4X4).
Warm welcome, extra friendly staff and by far the cleanest guesthouse I’ve ever visited. Perfect mattresses and pillows, nice breakfast and one of the best Mountain View’s I’ve ever seen. Excellent food at the restaurant almost 24/7. Best value for money!
Budget priced with fluffy thick towels, warm rooms, friendly staff, views looking towards the picturesque villages on the mountains. Great base to explore. Continental Greek breakfast of any type of coffee, ham cheese, salami, bread, home made jams and honey, juice, cake and boiled eggs. What more could you ask for.
A cute guesthouse for those who want to explore the traditional villages of Karpenisi. The guesthouse has also a tavern with a breathtaking view! The meals are all traditionally cooked and Foteini's pies are delicious!
The hosts are very gracious, helping with everything you need. The hotel has a restaurant offering very tasty homemade meals .The breakfast was very rich. Great location for those who wish to travel around Evrytania.
We spent two nights (wish it had been more) at the Rizoma Guesthouse and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is run by a very friendly and welcoming family with particular mention going to Spiros (the son) who spoke very good English, as our Greek is practically non-existent, who was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and tracks to walk. We stayed in room 6, which had the most amazing views towards the village of Megalo Choria and the mountains beyond, which you could enjoy by sitting on the balcony and/or leave the curtains open (as we did) to have the most amazing views to wake up to in the morning. The double room was comfortable and very clean, with plenty of storage space if required. Breakfast was very tasty and enough to keep you going for most of the day. Rizoma is also a taverna, in which we ate for both nights. The food served in the taverna was of high quality and made by Spiros’s mother. Apparently we were the first English to stay there, which is a shame as this ‘hidden’ mountainous area and the small hillside villages are stunning and offer the visitor another side to the Greek experience. With the Rizoma the ideal place to stay for exploring this area and I’m sure in the future we will have the pleasure of returning.…
This is the best hotel we've visited in Greece! The view and location was unbelievable; the room was so much cozy, comfortable and warm with panoramic view from the balcony; the food was super delicious (there is a tavern by the hotel) and the most important - extremely great staff! I wish we could stay there much longer and we plan to come back definitely.
We had a lovely time in Rizoma Guesthouse - high quality guesthouse located in a lovely village called Micro Horio next to the villaged Megallo horio. The rooms are lovely, clean, with a great balcony to the view, hot water running, wi-fi, and everything you need! Breakfast was the best. and the nature around is stunning. But the main thing I think is that the hosts - the family running this place were simply charming. kind and welcoming people - me and my wife felt home . We came for 3 nights, and ended up staying 4 days because we just couldn't leave. Roy Israel
