We had a lovely stay at Hotel Korissia! The room was tidy and clean and a short walk from the port. The owner Panagiotis was very helpful in telling us where to go and what to do in Kea. The breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable and fresh. Highly recommended accommodation and great value! We had such a fantastic time in Kea!

Our family visited Kea and decided to stay at Hotel Korissia, after viewing photos on bookings.com, for a week. We were pleasantly surprised with the location as it was positioned within a 5 min walk to the port. We were greeted by the owner, Takis, who was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat, beaches to visit and areas to go to on Kea. We were then shown up to our deluxe room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. All furnishings appeared to be new and also included a small kitchenette with a sink and tea and coffee facilities. We later discovered that Takis has recently updated all the rooms, bathrooms and air conditioners. The fridge in the room was also really convenient to store our water and snacks for the kids. The balcony was very spacious and a lovely place to have a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. We cannot fault our stay here and it was great value for money. The island itself is a beautiful place to visit for families.

We were looking for a hotel in kea for 1 night, as we needed to be there for a wedding. We have been in kea quite a few times and every time we stay at Vourkari, I hotels (rooms to let) that are really awful but at a relatively low price (50 euros). This time we wanted to stay at a better hotel and we could offer more. We used an agency in kea, kea tours, to help us. They found this hotel for us, which costed us 95 euros per night. Complete disappointment. The location was horrible. Very far from Vourkari, which is the lively part of kea. But also far from korissia. The view was also terrible, overlooking some dirty land and also some very ugly houses nearby. The room was clean, but the furniture and style was again horrible, brought to us directly from the 1970s. The bed was so uncomfortable that I would rather sleep in the beach. The towels that hard that you could shave with them! They hadn't bought new for years, the ceilings had holes. The ventilation in the bathroom was a hole, literally, on the ceiling, from where you could see the sky. The air condition was so old that you could not adjust the temperature, as the buttons were broken. Last but not lest, the owners or employees were not polite. They didn't even offer to help us with our luggage and nor did they offer to drive us to the port, although we were carrying many things! And all this at the price of 95 euros per night. A complete rip off!
