A quiet place, three hours by jeep from Ipati, as if landing in a Greek house with beautiful rooms, delicious food, pastoral peace, turquoise sea, pleasant wind because the place is high. It is possible to go diving, medium reef, quiet beach, varied food, currently seafood pasta, there is also fish. The rooms are spacious, there is hot water, there is electricity, the room is cleaned every day, you can see a view from the balcony. It is possible to walk along the heat of the sea.

A piece of paradise on earth, after 2.5 hours of trail along the northern coast of Tulear, a journey during which you can take in the views... The hotel is located on the edge of a small bay, with comfortable bungalows, views sea for the most part, offering a semi-star experience with an opening to the outside possible to sleep lulled by the sound of the waves all night long... Top cuisine, very good dishes with very good products, from local fishing (a few km around) for seafood products.
The big highlight: Fred and his nautical club, a (almost) local passionate about the sea and its environment, who will make you dive (tanks and/or snorkeling) on natural sites full of fish and corals as well as on historic sites with 18th century wrecks, fishing for amateurs, whale watching depending on the period, and even taking you for a guided walk in the forest behind the dunes...
In short, a thousand thanks for these three magnificent days, in this idyllic place…

We highly recommend this hotel located in a unique location.
Warm and caring welcome from its owner, Michèle Cotsoyannis.
Many activities on site: swimming in the magnificent lagoon, diving with Fred Lucas, the discoverer of wrecks and underwater caves, quad biking, meeting whales, bushes and baobabs, etc.

A beautiful structure reminiscent of Greece dominates a splendid lagoon designed by wind and rough seas. We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful hotel discovering beautiful rooms and excellent cuisine. We greatly appreciated the hospitality and excellent service available at the facility. The sea in the bay is perfect for swimming for any age!

If you like a Beautifull location on a remote beach, this is the place for you. Even the rough road going there is worth it, and if you search the sand dunes in the village nearby, you might Even find pieces from the eggs of the elephant bird.

I also took boat trip with the french local captain. The result was a king fish on 35 kg + diving on A lovely reef, far out in the ocean. Parts of the fish was delicious prepared in the kitchen, and I can still taste the vanilla sauce.

The service was great, very friendly staff and arrival went together with a free refreshing welcoming drink. the food is delicous and very well prepared. If the menu which offered several choices were not to our liking they were willing to offer alternatives not listed on the menu list which rarily happens

the rooms are great bungalows all with seaview which offers a great sunset.

It's hard to access which makes it a great retreat off the beaten tracks and very quiet and relaxing. The rooms have one open side which give a smooth brees at night and definatly adds to the charm of the place

At night guards protect the area although we've never felt unsafe anywhere in the country.

The coral unfortunatly had it's best time due to fishing and the local people resting their boat on the coral but it's still a nice half day trip for those who never snorkelled before. for experienced people there must be better places then next to the hotel. Then again the crystal clear sea and white sandy beach definatly made up for that and it's lovely just to spend a few days at the nearly deserted beach!

The best stay of our 3.5 week trip through madagascar where we had almost every night a new hotel. thumbs up

Hello Yes, there is a taxi brusse which goes on Salary Bay but only every 2 days. It is necessary to matter more or less 6 hours of route. With a good 4x4 and a good driver, you can go there with no problem at all (3 hours of route). Salary Bay can also organize transfers from Tuléar or Ifaty.
