The hotel and the setting are beautiful and the cuisine is delightful too. Our room on the ground floor was a little small, but perhaps other rooms are bigger and have a much better view. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna. The service was invariably perfect. If you like wine, wineries and vineyards, you will be in your element. The vineyards as well as the nearby forests in the Thaya valley were exquisite colours in October and the nearby historical towns- Znojmo in Czechia and Retz in Austria - are welcoming and also quite pretty. One of the most beautifully located hotels in Czechia in my opinion.

Family al-fresco lunch at the hotel terrace. Excellent meals, great view of vineyards and woodlands of Thayatal, great choice of local very nice wines (especially if you like sweet ones). Wine shop in the hotel reception. We couldn't see any single "minus" other than that hotel accommodation is fully booked for next half a year (for weekend stays)...

Very nice restaurant with the good service. You can choose from typical Czech cousins. Food was very good, with more service. We should ask for dessert only. I can recommended to everybody. Wellness is also very good.

We recently stayed at the hotel as guests with a wedding held at the hotel. On arrival it took two people about 10 minutes to check us in, which meant we had little time to get ourselves sorted before the wedding. However, the room and view more than made up for this. I can now say that I've had a bath whilst overlooking the stunning countryside of the Czech Republic and Austria in the distance (the bath was in the bedroom - the room also had an en-suite shower room)! The staff working in the hotel were on the younger side but, unlike previous reviewers, we didn't notice this to be a problem. They were efficient and friendly. The food was lovely (except for the soup with liver dumplings ... It might be traditional but it was quite revolting!) and the breakfast buffet had a good array of different options. Sadly, we were only there for one night so didn't get a chance to try out the spa, the wine tasting or hire bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. However, we did manage to walk to Austria from the hotel.

Spacious rooms, nice dining room and ok conference rooms. I didnt have a time to try the pool or sauna. As the environment is very nice and spacious the owners should pay more attention to the staff - it is probably not easy to get a good people there as there is not much around (shopping etc) - you HAVE TO HAVE a transport.. so the staff is really having their moods and not enjoying the job - all from the main reception (not helpful) - evening dinner (too young to help to choose) - breakfast (mean). I want to give it a go once more time as the environment is really nice with fantastic sunrise.

We stood here just for one night but we enjoyed it! Rooms are clean, bright and equiped. The location in the middle of the vineyard is absolutely awesome. The hotel restaurant wasn´t bad... But there is more potentional. I am sure I want to come back and stay her0 more than just one night and enjoy the region and everything what is proposed here.

Hotel VINICE HNANICE is a new and has very nice interier and the same a nice exterior. Is very close to the Austria border, and around this hotel is a lot of vineyards. Typical for this region is very good white wine and after relaxing you can go to tasting wine from the region moravia.

Just sit down on very nice terrace of the large bright and modern restaurant and relax with great and good value meal and local wine. One of the best places in south moravia. You should not miss that on your trip to Sobes hill!

I stayed in this hotel with my work colleagues for 2 day business training. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere which is fine for business people. We had two meals to choose from for lunches and dinners and I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was. Even such simple things like pasta with sundried tomatoes, pine nuts and parmiggian cheese was excellent. Besides that, you can taste almost every wine they have on the wine list. I am not a big fan of sweet or even a medium-sweet wines however their Palava (which is a type of wine from that region) very sweet was just delicious. Rooms are ok, wifi coverage great, very clean and quiet. The only downside was that it took absolutely ages to pay a hotel bill...prepare for approx. 10 and more minutes per person!
