Old but clean hotel, good but poor meals. Wellness is not free for the guest, you can entrance in termal rivijera (pools) only one time daily for free, next time is 6 €. Hotel reception is closed after 9pm, you have to go in hotel Terme. There was no massagge servise in pool area (it was weekend) . Unfortunately, I would not come here again.

I stayed here with a friend for 4 days. After checking in and getting to our room, we saw that there is a single king size bed, even though when booking the room I requested a seperate bed. When I brought this up at the reception, the receptionist said they do not have any other rooms available at the moment. The room itself is not bad, although I did notice some stains on the sheets, some parts that needed more cleaning etc. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of foods. But the dinner was okay at best I'd say. The staff were nice and helpful.

We've spent a long weekend with our daughters of 3 years and 9 months. We were faced with the poor service, unfair treatment and were tricked for an extra bed. At the check-in we've found out that we are all supposed to sleep in a single king size bed and we were told to approach to our agency as they haven't said that our daughter is not having a bed and that it will be put in the room for an extra charge. We've said that we will think about it and will speak with our agency only to find out that actually there was an extendable chair in the room. So we have tought that they might be wrong with what they've said earlier as for us it was strange that for our family of 4, there was only one king size bed. However, the room service came and asked us if we want to have the chair set as the bed with linen on top. And we've said OK, only to find out, after our 3 days stay, at the check-out, that we are supposed to pay 50% of the regular price only for having the linen on the chair. WE WERE DECEIVED AND THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS. Which hotel in the Earth is charging for making a chair to be a bed with the linen 50% of the regular price for a 3 year old child. NEVER AGAIN!!! Stay away of this hotel which is supposed to be family friendly and actually is totally NOT

This hotel is not worth 3*star. At reception, rude and unkind. Under critisism is female employee , whose behaviour is kind of ironical to the request for additional sheet in the room, since the heating is way unduly. Her answer that additional bed is not paid, is stupid and beyond expectation. At the same time at the reception tourist tax is charged for 4 years old child. I realized their mistake at once, but they told me, that refund will be perfomed to my back account. And they still did not pay back.I do not recommend food, which is awful, hot dogs at the breakfast are cut in pieces. They do not serve pancakes nor fried eggs., toast is beyond expectation. At the dinner, the trout is cut in pieces too. When the green salad is out, it is brought in small portions, so you have to be quick to get your share of salad. A glass of water for your child is escapade, even if the child is not feeling well. The personel asks you to go on the toilet. The hotel is not worth being 3-star hotel, maybe 1-star for the lift. Even lift was in failure. With this attitude, I am not going back with my family.

Hotel is great, clean, nice, comfortable big rooms, good bed, great service. Food is delicious, and you can not be hungry in Catez hotel! Buffet breakfast and dinner. The food offer is huge and quality. Do not worry about that. Hotel has underground passage to winter riviera. It is warm, but you can not go to winter riviera only in t shirt and shorts. On winter riviera you can find 2 caffe and restoraunt with cooked meals and the prices are reasonable. Only thing that was negative is bad wifi at room on first floor. In dining room was good. In winter riviera there is no wifi. I think this hotel is better than hotel Toplice 4*, looks nicer, especially dining room. Will be back, I am sure!

Great food, great pools and awesome rooms. We had breakfast included and it was tasty and you had a lot of food and a big choice. Everything is fresh. One night we went on dinner and it was also awesome. You have a pool in a hotel even though you have therme near by. Hotel is abit expensive for our term but it pays off! Will gladly return!

Nice location, nice modern lobby, good room equipment, pleasant receptionists and room maid. Clean and nice internal swimming pool with warm water. Clean overall, nice lining. Restaurant is not impressive, food is basic, restaurant staff constantly moving around the table and taking empty plates which is anoying.

We came in the middle of the week by car...and we had arrived late afternoon (it is already dark in december!) and it was kinda silly that we actually couldn't find this hotel! when you arrive from highway there are no signs by the road where this waterpark is! after few wrongturns we had finally found the road to waterpark and yet again no sign of hotel! that was a major turnoff for us...bad start of our vacation! there is a small brown sign on the whiteboard and we acctually had to stop the car to read the name of the hotel. and this hotel is hidden from the major road so we didn't find it AGAIN! ok when we had finally arrived, the lady at the front desk looked quite Indifferent and she gave us the key to our room and told us when the breakfast and diner are served...no other informations what so ever! had to asked how can we enter waterpark and so... ok if you also take lunch (we have a small child) you pay another 15 eur per person for lunch/day! and because you can only enter 1 time in a day to waterpark...you take lunch at the hotel then you have to go back to waterpark and also pay a ticket to enter which is 6 eur/person/day! omg. ok so we didn't take lunch in the hotel...we actually eaten in waterpark restaurant which was cheaper. the room is clean and quite nice BUT as we watched Anthony Melchiorry show, we checked the mattresses and were ok and clean...some dust on doors and black stains on red carpet. the bathroom is nice and clean but i have found long hair on soap holder under shower which is kinda disgusting. the bed is quite comfortable and big but was dissapointed because my 4 year old had to sleep on fold-out couch which was very uncomfortable and we also had to pay for this "bed"! if i pay for additional bed i expect real bed not couch! the TV is old and outdated and nobody tells you about the WiFi in the room...it is actually free you just have to find the code on their website. and yes THE ECHO IN THE ROOM hahaha, ok funny but a little bit anoying! when you ride the glass elevator, you see a looot of spider webs around the elevator tube! the next inadmissible thing is that in the house rules writes that the front desk is open 24 hours for any informations BUT IT IS NOT. i had to leave one day in 4.30 in the morning and found out that the front doors are locked and couldn't go out. noone was at the front desk and had to find another way out! the water in waterpark is questionable because my daughter got some nasty rash at the evening and when we called the front desk from our room---guess what - NOONE PICKED THE PHONE! at 22.00 in the evening! my husband tried several times as we needed some urgent informations where to find a doctor but no luck with that. he called his mobile just to checked if the hotel phone actually workes...they charged this call 0,80 €. omg!!!!! as i read in facebook page there are a lot of people who got rash from this waterpark so our holiday was sadly ruined. so the next day we went to hotel privat pool and noone got rash...how interesting! the other lady at the front desk (when we checked out) was rude and told us if we have any complains just write in a book of complains...seriously? so we didn't feel comfortable and welcome to this hotel at all. oh yes and you get the welcome drink when you check in..but we didn't. i care less about the drink, but i saw the writing on the wall right on the other side of front desk where the bar was located..."welcome drink". well thanks for that. ah and a lot of wardrobe lockers in the waterpark are not working so good luck in finding the one that locks! some of the front desk workers do not speak english well so that is also a minus for them...and they do not give you any interesting informations about the locations itself or the informations about the hotel etc. the nicest people there are cleaning ladies (i thank them for feeling welcome!) and restaurant staff! and the food was nice and a lot of variety to pick! we will not go there again because of the water and the rash etc. the hotel has 3 stars so it is quite ok for this level.

We were there from 06-10.Nov 2015, so our memories are fresh :) Čatež is very quiet touristic place for families with children and for everyone who wants to relax. Our room was at 4th floor, elevator is made of glass, and the only thing that remindes you that you are in 3 star hotel is modest but clean room. Bathroom is nice, looks new, and balcony with chairs and little table is so sweet. Beds are very soft which is great for me and my daughter, so we slept like never. Hotel has very nice pool for people who likes silence and it is never crowded. Hotel is connected with Hotel Toplice and thereby with Winter Thermal riviera, and also with little but nice amusement park for kids. Winter Thermal Riviera is perfection itself for everyone. And for your information you can swim in outpool because water is 31-32 degrees even if outside's temperature is 10-15 degrees(Celzius).
