We stayed here for 5 nights. We had a warm welcome from helpful staff and had a very good standard of service throughout the stay. The location is stunning at the head of a quiet and beautiful valley in the Dolomites. We went for the walking and it didn't disappoint. We had a superior double room which was spacious and very comfortable.The food was delicious. If you like small hotels and in a mountain setting with good food you will love this hotel. Surprisingly they dont often have English visitors - mostly Italian and German. We travelled by public transport and it was easily accessible. Many thanks to the staff.

We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel in September 2016. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly. They were very studious about meeting our dietary needs (GF etc) - and were very helpful when I was not well one evening (bringing meals to room etc.). The food and restaurant service was excellent. Our room (with small balcony) was good, well sized, good shower etc. - sometimes a bit noisy being above the kitchen. The setting of the hotel is great - set in a lovely 'Sound of Music' scenery. It is excellent walking country - plenty of rifugios and well marked walks. The spectacular peaks of the Dolomites are only about 20 miles away. We would be very happy to use this hotel again.

We had a wonderful time out in this beautiful valley and this lovingly and professionally run hotel. Cosy rooms with wonderful views. Everything was always super clean and every day the bed was draped differently. Every employee always friendly and attentive. Culinary we were also very spoiled. Breakfast rich, egg dishes freshly prepared at the buffet. Afternoon cake buffet and also hearty. In the evening a special menu and a joy for every palate and the eye. The hotel is located in an excellent location, quiet, great food and the presentation of the dishes is very refined, I would make a note for the wellness area, we did not use the pool because the water in my opinion was not heated enough, lacked herbal teas in the relaxation area to be able to drink something hot in the outdoor area. At snack time I would have given the opportunity to make herbal teas or teas to accompany sweet and savory without having to order them.
