Set in the peaceful and rural fjord of Lavangen, Aa-Gård has 7 water-front & fully furnished cabins and offers an outstanding base for the perfect activity vacation, but also for those seeking a slower pace of recreation. Since more than 20 years, we are a popular fishing camp with loyal, repeat anglers from all over Norway as well as from mainland Europe. Aa-Gård has also a restaurant which offers traditional Norwegian food prepared with local ingredients. We combine traditional recipes and flavours, but add our own and new twist. Our signature dishes include lamb meat from our own flock, and cod or halibut fish from Lavangen’s fjord. Our restaurant seats around 60 guests and our wine cellar around 30 guests. Our wine cellar, bellow the restaurant, is filled with a variety of our own wine imported from our family winery in Germany. Fishing is the main activities of our guests in Summer, but Lavangen has so much more to offer: hiking, disc golfing, biking under the midnight sun in summer, or berry picking and helping to gather the sheep in autumn. Winter activities includes cross country skiing, down hill skiing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and ice climbing to name a few.
