We’ve wanted from a while to arrive at this location.the photos from instagram were eye-catching. We’ve made a reservation for a table on a Saturday and we’ve decided to go. The road almost killed our car - a Ford Ranger. We’ve seen on the road smaller cars however it is not a road for a smaller car. You should be prepared for dirt. The parking space is not near to the restaurant and till the restaurant be prepared for a 5 minute walk on an alee full of dirt. The food was not the best and the dishes are very small. Prices are high however you should take into consideration that it costs to transport everything there. The only nice thing is indeed the view. Staff is not friendly and you do not feel comfortable at the table. For sure we will not go there. It was an experience not to be repeated …
Except for the view which is great the whole experience was overpriced and we would not recommend. Rooms are small and basic with everything around out of painted plastic even the sink and our room was a bigger one not the small version. Food is overpriced and especially the coffee. Ladies serving in the restaurant were nice however there are people from management it seemed or their friends walking around inside the restaurant without observing the protection measures. No onr came in 3 days to clean the room. Road up to the place is in very poor condition so make sure your car can handle it.
Lovely view, delicious food and the road was definitely worthy although if you go by car you might want to have a big or 4x4 one. We had some traditional cakes, such “placinte” with lemonade. The prices are also good, not expensive nor cheap.
AT is a very interesting hotel, built out of a couple old (~200y they say) wooden houses on a hill nearby the Amfiteatrul peek. There are about a dozen rooms all furnished in a Romanian traditional style ... slightly "modernized". I can understand why some consider it a bit "disney-esque" but I loved the mix of old and new they came up with. The tasty breakfast is a traditional Romanian one, and the restaurant has an amazing view - but there's no shortage of amazing views in this location. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in the restaurant. A bit on the pricy side, true, but they use fresh local ingredients and you can feel this from the taste of almost everything they cook. The staff was very polite and kind, my experience was completely different from what is described in other reviews. Cons: Not sure if this the same for all the rooms but the one I stayed in only one really small window could be opened. During sunny weather the room gets really hot and stuffy, but then again nobody stays in the room during the day. Wifi was not bad, not terrible, probably depends from a room to another (+no wifi around the restaurant). If you want Internet you have to keep your device in a certain location near the bed, at a certain height, in a specific orientation, when the moon shines and the grey wolf howls at the northern star. Or, you can just stick to 4G and that's that. Sleep quality situation 8/10, but I am a bit picky.…
This place is awesome and i truly recommend it for visiting. Food is good and the staff is very friendly. I really like each part of this place and i will definitely come back here. Take a look and come here for a cozy holiday! You will not regret that! 🧘🏼♀️ Great job guys! Nice team.
