My extended family and I booked to have Sunday dinner at The Leather Bottle (Sun 27th Nov 2016). We arrived around 5pm, and were greeted at the door before being shown to our tables round to the rear of the pub. The walk to our table was interesting to say the least. A few twists and turns through corridors, glancing...

This is a really old pub with large car park. Signage takes you to the hotel reception via a long narrow corridor. Once checked in we were asked if we wanted breakfast (extra cost). Choice full English or continental. We found our room at the top of the stairs which was a good size and the en-suite bathroom was also...

Visited for a Sunday lunch with my family. Beautiful old historic pub with great service and atmosphere along with beautiful homemade food! I ordered a starter of potted crab followed by roast beef with all the trimmings and a dessert of sticky toffee pudding. No faults at all and well worth every penny. Recommend to all.

Stayed here overnight on a Saturday night... last minute booking that morning. Booked the four poster room which was lovely though abit cold. Ate in the restaurant that night food was amazing and service was great. Very disappointed with the full English breakfast the next morning. Room it was served in was freezing cold, even though a fire was lit....

After a business meeting I accidentally left a spiral bound notebook and business Diary behind on the table after a business meeting. On calling the pub (twice) I was told there was nothing handed in. As I have retraced my steps I am 100% sure I left it there. I have lost nearly two years of notes and 18 months...

I cant understand the reviews about the staff here, whenever we have been to the leather bottle we have had brilliant service from the staff! The food is exceptional and the surrounding beautiful! Overpriced???? If you want cheap go to a weatherspoons! The prices here in my opinion are in keeping with what you get, this oldy worldy pub has...

We stumbled across The Leather Bottle on a cycling jolly one Sunday and have made another 2 visits since. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, the food delicious and plentiful, wash that down with few pints of real ale. What more could you ask for? I only wish that I lived closer!
