It is interesting to see how a person called "rip off Bucks", writes a review, to rip off this pub. I was sitting near to this table and heard how they were going to try and give the place and staff a hard time and get away with having items they eat, removed from the bill. Obviously biased. The manager had said that all the restaurants in the area serve their scotch eggs with black pudding these days. They had never indicated that they sell "traditional" scotch eggs? She must have said that and that she would remove it from the bill and not much else. I did not hear any rudeness. If they knew it had black pudding, as they told the manager, why not ask in advance if has. What a cheek

Excellent service by our waitress very friendly, just such a shame to find the Rudeness was indeed a Manager, discusting that she just walked off after asking for the Duck scotch egg to be taken off as thought believed to be black pudding was indeed that! without a mention of it on the menu which is totally wrong ingredients need to be advertised! She then replied well all scotch eggs have black pudding...Errr no NATALIE they dont a Traditional scotch egg(hot) is made of sausage meat maybe you need education in the food industry of what your actually serving and definately a course in customer service! just shocked that you never even returned after saying that and walked off but got a member of staff to do your dirty work for you, luckily for you she was lovely thourought our stay, so I would probably suggest you need to stay back of house or you wouldnt have many customers with an attitude like yours! Or simply listen to your customers without the negative feedback/ Rudeness just no need for it! A lovely lunch spoilt

Very disappointing. Not one smile to be seen from all three front of house staff. Although I respect pubs are to shut at 10:00PM, think it’s a bit out of order to have a bar maid throw your bill on the table at 9:25PM. Not somewhere to go if you’re looking for a nice, relaxed setting. Will not recommend or return.
