Superb hotel, garden room huge with bath that had 2 x showers! Views over trees, daily housekeeping so long as you remember to put the door sign on, food choices were very good. There was always good quality food options at the buffet and the A la cartes. We used a la carte 3 times. You are provided with a Serenade app on Check-in which allows you to choose and book your A La Cartes on line. We booked our A La Cartes right after checking in with no issues. Don’t wait too long to book them as they fill up fast. There are several bars and pools to use and a nice beach area as well. You have to get up early in the morning (6:00 am) in order to get a good beach chair location with coverage. There are weeds in the water but the Serenade staff keep one area fairly clean of weeds so that people can swim. We had no problems communicating with most staff who were always very friendly and the entertainment team are outstanding, beach games if you want, theatre (located on the family side of the resort) at night for shows. Easy to get bottled water or coffee as well. The weather was great with just a couple of rain showers that lasted only 30 minutes or so. The ocean was warm and shallow and workers clearing seaweed daily. The beach venders were not aggressive and take no when told. There was always beach security close by at all times so felt very safe. Room mini bar was always topped up daily and we always left a couple of dollars in the fridge for tips. Overall, we had an excellent and relaxing time at the Serenade All Suites Adults Only resort and we will return.

Overalls same good things with a few hiccups . Arrived at 2am due to flight delays due to weather. Even we advised the resort and asked for some extra snacks nothing was done- too bad did not asked for miracles only for something to eat beside Lays chips. Departure flight was delayed -again- we got a 2hour extension to stay in the room which was helpful not needing to stay in the lobby for hours. The beach quality is improving but still needs work in cleaning the algae. Serenade all suites adult resort, is a 3/4 star resort. It is not a 5 star at all! I have never left a review for a resort, but thought it’s important to share with others, as this resort may look like a wonderful resort, but it is NOT!
The buffet food is not great and if you don’t go soon as they open, then the food is less, because they don’t replenish the food. Many times the labels of what the food is not there, so you don’t know what it is. Desserts table terrible, unless you like a marshmallow. This is both the breakfast and lunch buffets. It is also the same buffet all the time!
Restaurants were very nice, but difficult to get a reservation. We noticed while eating the restaurants were empty, because they save reservations for the preferred travellers.
The room - water in the shower changed on its own from cold and then back to warm/hot (this was throughout every shower). Sheets even if you have housekeeping change them, I found dirty spots so disgusting. You can hear noises, like chairs moving from the room above (and it’s loud).
The pool bar - the first few days travellers arrive (ready to have drinks with friends and family) they would go to the pool bar (located inside the pool). We noticed the bar tenders would give them a drink called Mama Juana and it’s very strong. We heard by many guests who drank it would be sick, throwing up and black out. Let’s just say this drink, deterred those guests to not drink anymore or much after that. Why would the bar tenders give a glass full of straight Mama Juana from what looked like a white jug (no label) and it was given to the travellers that were just enjoying themselves, drinking with friends/family.
Evening Entertainment - there were only 3 nights of outdoor entertainment and it’s not great. Dancers, costumes juvenile.
Every pool is cold!!! There is no heater in any of the pools. It is freezing cold. If you go, you will find out.
The workers are nice, but we noticed they do not look happy. Many other resorts we have been to the workers are visibly happy and smiling, welcoming. The workers at this resort, do not look happy and it shows. It’s the one thing many other guests noticed. It just looks like a sad place to work.
Pool activities, not much at all. Just water aerobics.

The hotel was very nice, clean some of the employees are super nice. The restaurants very close to our building and the beach, walking distance. Our room had the pool in the balcone, which we loved. The rooms twice a day especially when you were getting dress or taking a bath they turn off the light. The room AC was very good and the building halls do not have AC. The shows were boring and the place too. I loved the buffet restaurant, the french and seafood out side seating. The hotel is very quiet the adult suites only. The beach the sand was not clean, I did not take a bath in the beach. The hotel store is very nice and expensive. The show at night by the bar and lobby some times was good others very boring. The pools are super nice and clean. Not enough waiters or bar tenders in the pool area. You have to go to the pool bar and get a drink or wait to see if the bar tender pass by your area. We visit the Serenade family resort, it was nice, crowded and loud with family, looks like fun. The buffet food breakfast was amazing. The drinks were not high quality liquor. The room you have water, soda, beer, chocolate, potato chips, no cocktail liquors. The bed was okay, the restrooms the area were you take a bath is a little dangerous, be careful. Now when you visit Punta Cana you have to filled out a form on line instead of the actual paper, sometimes was not easy to filled out. They told us when we arrived at the departure airport, so we already new when we were leaving we had to go online and filled out the form. It was very hot and not confortable, I think it was hotter than the two other times we visit on diffrent year same month.

This was the first time that my family visited Punta Cana. I was looking for a good hotel that accept dogs and is reasonable priced and not to far from the Punta Cana airport. Those were the minimum requirements and that is why we chose this resort. We chose the all adult side for the purpose that we wanted to relax as a family with less noise which was the case. Upon arriving we had 2 rooms and the staff mentioned to be close to one another if we can wait for the rooms to be cleaned so we waited an about 40 minutes checked out one of the restaurant and was able to eat before entering our rooms. The rooms were clean and we were able to get comfortable before going to dinner. We ate at the market place buffet every night for the convince of getting a section of multiple cuisine so all of the family felt satisfied. We spent the next couple of days enjoying the beach which had chairs and cabana to use if available. You just have to get their earl to secure those chairs. The beach water was really clean and also the sand there is workers making sure it is swept and clean. The water was not too warm but not to cold it was perfect. The gym at the resort is also great to get a workout in. Again our dinners were at the market place every night since they had tables outside so we can bring our dog with us. The staff were very attentive and we become nightly guests to Luis Capella who was the most sweet and helpful staff member to make our dinners more enjoyable. Being there for only 3 full days still enough to enjoy the resort to the best. I will say there were nights that we had trouble with the t.v but the staff came to help with the app of the resort to put a request for someone to come personally to assist. Again overall the experience was great and considering coming again with more family.

We arrived to a welcoming check in desk. No waiting. As soon as we were done we introduced to our Butler for the week who gave us a basic tour of the property and told us she would book any restaurant reservations, activities and spa. We just needed to let her know and she would do the rest. It was a long trip so we went to our room and were very pleased with it. Large, clean, mini bar stocked and a balcony with an amazing view of the pools, property and could see the ocean in the distance. Just beautiful. The next 6 days consisted of food, drinks, ocean and entertainment. Drinks were very easy to find with bars all over the place. 3 pools gave three completely different vibes, from a more party atmosphere to a more relaxed but still had music to a very chill quiet pool. Being this is an adults only, the pools were very chill. Even the “party” pool had a great relaxed atmosphere. The property is SUPER clean. They mop and scrub the concrete daily. The beach is shared with the family side but is very clean. Seaweed can be an issue in the Dominican, but they have people who clean it up once to twice a day. The ocean is crystal clear and could walk out almost a football field with the water only being up to your knees and waist. The staff for the most part were friendly. We never made good friends with the bartenders like some other guests but we were never ignored. We found the most attentive wait staff was from the buffets. The sit down restaurant staff was good but the buffet staff were just more attentive, which was odd because it really is the same staff. Buffet staff must be told to be quick to get people out faster. Food was average at best. You will never go hungry but wasn’t great even at the sit down restaurants. Entertainment was basic but for an all inclusive, it was just that. Entertaining. Live singers at the piano bar at night, live shows on the stage outside, pool games, yoga, billiards. The week went by fast and we had no hiccups on our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing adults only resort, this is it. We are not really into the party scene, so the relaxed atmosphere, cool pools and cold drinks is exactly what we needed

The good: spacious rooms, the food was very rich, varied and abundant, during the day there were always entertaining activities with pineapple and crazy coconut. Overall the very friendly and willing garzones to meet all our needs.
The bad: The guest service managers were not very friendly or resolute the times we made requests or inquiries. The availability of the towels was only am, as they sold out. We took a tour with an agency that offered its services inside the hotel "turtle divers" to SaĂ´ne Island and did not meet our expectations, nor what we were offered when hiring.

Let me start by saying this review is biased as this is the second time we have been there. That means we really liked it enough to come back after the 1st visit, but was disappointed by not having a similar experience only a year later. The things that we still liked from the first visit were that it was clean, close to the airport, not too big that we’d get lost but big enough you could feel like you weren’t being crowded. We liked the variety or options offered there and the opportunity to access the family side too. The beach was cleaned and big enough to make sure everyone had space and walkable for a bit on either side. And the beverage service around the pool was always present when we needed it. The issues we had this time that were glaringly different from last year were that the staff we interacted with were less joyful, and some outright rude when questions were asked (like when we were put in a room with 2 double beds rather than the king we reserved). The little touches like a welcome drink and cold towel, which we were treated with last year was absent this visit. The restaurants we reserved differently this year, through an app which I found easy enough to navigate but some of the restaurants this year needed a reservation they didn’t in the past. We also found there were more nights we were forced to the buffet due to restaurants being closed for the night. Reservations had to be made by 3pm, even if tables were empty they still wouldn’t sit people. We had to ask for our mini fridge to be filled, as it wasn’t daily as promised. And I had to call twice during the week for towels asking for us to always have 4 available a day. There were a couple other things that we found lesser than what we experienced last year. That is where our disappointment lies. We know it can be done better there because we experienced it.

You are not restricted to any part of the beach but the resort has their own beach lounging areas so that's probably what the photos were limited to. So if you want to park in a bed, cabana or their chairs then you stay in that section but you're free to go wherever. I had no complaints about the beach. I went out there even on the rainy days.
The Swim outs are attached to the rooms not the main pool. There are JSOFV rooms on the second and third floor that have the view but no access to the pools. There are also swim outs that are on the opposite side of the Hotel with no Ocean View
There are more places to choose from in the Cabeza De Toro area.
