I believe the Vice President, Mr Siddharth Yadav under his vibrant and dynamic leadership has created a commendable core, emotional and functional culture in the Hotel which is worthy of being emulated by other Hotels. There are a few staff who deserve more than a special mention and recognition for their exceptional Service Excellence and are a great asset to the Hotel. I stayed at Suryagarh in January in a haveli, which had its own pool, a private sit out and a dining room. Although not a heritage property, Suryagarh has been constructed like a palace in golden sandstone. It is a beautiful hotel, with an old world charm - though a little outside the city. Our stay at Suryagarh was nothing less than exceptional. It is a beautiful property, it's beauty depicting a rich royal Heritage culture set up in modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The more that is said about the efficiency of the staff is less. They were all excellent in ensuring that our stay was even better than we could have imagined. But my review cannot be closed without mentioning Ankit and Aryan @nosh who took our dining experience @suryagarh to a different level altogether. They say Suryagarh is famous for celebrity weddings I would say it should be famous for their courteous smiling and welcoming staff @nosh. And not to mention the food both dinner and bkfst were delicious. I would highly recommend it.👍

Suryagarh, true to its name shimmers like a sun-kissed jewel in Jaisalmer's desert landscape. The sprawling property in the local golden sandstone imposes royal magnificence, opulence and grandeur, while certain niches lend it a heart-warming bucolic charm. The organic garden, farm animals, strutting peacocks, ducks, geese, and a tortoise complete the fairytale setting accompanied with the mesmerising tune of the morning alghoza. It's easy to lose oneself in every detail of its sumptuous rich decor and a traditional welcome that aligns itself with modernity. The Gama pahalwan gym is very cosy and well-equipped with a refined traditional design. The swimming pool with its arches and window pockets through which peak the orange and pink hues of the dawn and dusk desert sky is most inviting. The meditation and yoga sessions are relaxing. The masseurs are great. The spa, however, offers just a tiny steam room, a tight fit for more than 2 people. There's no jacuzzi or sauna; these would be great additions, but it's in the middle of a desert so there might be logistical issues. The cultural shows are performed by ace artists. It was great to dance to their enchanting tunes. The rooms are bright and immaculate with large comfy bathroom areas. The breakfast buffet is fit for a whole royal court! There's scrumptious loads of whatever goody your heart desires, from continental to desi mithais, to vegan chai or vegan whatever, boasting a quality that is the very best. It's endless and feels like Alibaba's cavern :) The staff are extremely efficient, kind, courteous and attentive to all your needs (big thanks to Deepak and the others). My wife and I stay3e at the Suryagarh in Jaisalmer from November 5-6. We hoped this would be a once in a life time experience and my wife and I were very excited that we would have a good time at the Suryagarh. We had asked in advance for an early check in time. Not only were they not able to check us in early, they were late checking us into our room. We had to wait around until 2:45 to get in our room. All together, we waited almost 3 hours to get into the room that we booked. There was a music and dance performance at night from 7-8 pm at the Suryagarh. We attended the performance but we felt bad for the performers because the sound of power drills and electrical saws was ruining their performance. The artists were good. However, we were completely distracted and annoyed by the sounds of construction that was going on at the same time near the performers on the stage. The Suryagarh has not yet been totally completed. Much of the grounds are still just mud and dirt. There is scaffolding and half finished buidings on the grounds of the Suryagarh. There are many construction workers walking around with ladders and tools still building the rest of the hotel. Mosy importantly my wife and I wanted peace and quiet and to relax during our stayat the Suryagarh. Unfortunately, our experience was very stressfull and loud. We felt very sad that we spent so much money on such a terrible experience. Our decision to stay at the Suryagarh was a big mistake. We felt cheated that we had to deal with allthe construction and noise. During breakfast there were loud children yelling and playing near our dining table. One boy kept yelling next to our table "Where are the ducks! "Where are the ducks!??!" We complained several times about our room being too loud. They should have moved us into another room away from the loud construction. One employee suggested that we should just hang out in the courtyard outside since it was too loud to stay inside of our room. It seemed that there were other guests that were more important than we were. We did not seem to be the top priority. We tried many times but could not get anyone to give us change for a large bill. We wanted to tip the staff but needed smaller bills. We couldn't get massages during our stay. We were told there were no openings.…

I travelled with 7 other women friends and we all had a truly awesome time at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Intricately carved windows and doors were very beautiful and depicted the essence of jaisalmer in the truest sense. Sufi and rajasthani performance by the troupe in the evening was the highlight of the day. The stay was made special by Kripalini, Suresh , Latif and Deepak.

My wife and I were very fortunate to stay in this magical oasis during Diwali. The location is 12kms from Jaisalmer, which provides a welcome serene rest from the fervent hustle and bustle of Jaisalmer itself. The warm attentive service is world class. Suryagarh is spotlessly clean with numerous areas to relax and recover from having your senses bashing experience of Jaisalmer….. The attention to detail is incredible. I would highly recommend this outstanding hotel. Enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay, this hotel or I should say palace was definitely one of our best stay in Rajasthan area. Well presented, filled with many beautiful decorated facilities and area for guests to enjoyed and relax. Room were very spacious. Evening music cultural shows were very good Breakfast in the court yard with live local flute music was definitely a treat to remember Staffs were very pleasant and warm made us felt very welcome Thank you team Hope we can return next time when we are in town
