Far away from Naflio, 20 min at least drive. No sunset, its only sunrise place. You lose beach sun at 5 pm.terrible bed, internet in room sucks, you have beach infront but in between is a road, and next door is beach club that is noise evening. Should be cleaner bath and kitchen. Breakfast was not with original portokalada and tiropitas, and for a price per day it was very poor breakfast. Lovely parents who dont speak any language, and their son lost in translation.

Response from ddavelos, Manager at Zephyros Seaside Pension
Responded May 24, 2019
Thank you for staying with us and for your time to write this review. We take under consideration your comments, and we would like to improve our services. We already changed the mattresses in all our rooms (February 2019) and we improved the signal strength of Wi-Fi. Unfortunately we can't change the sun direction and that the earth is round, so we will stay with the lovely sunrise. The 99% of the comments we receive about the breakfast are positive, specially for my moms home made marmalade consisted of 100% fresh local fruits and the traditional Greek ntakos from our family organic extra virgin olive oil and olives. The tiropitas (cheese pie or spinach pie) and croissant is daily fresh made from the local traditional bakery. So for this breakfast the price you paid and forgot to mention is €45 (breakfast included). Thank you also for the comment for my parents and as far as the comment about me (the son)...i will...translate... it as "the closest to greek god" that another of our guest made below :))

This was the "jewel in the crown" on our trip from Paralia Tryos to Naphlion. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hospitality from our hosts was exceptional> The breakfast was a delight to look at and to eat. This was served every morning, by the owner, on our private balcony overlooking the sea. Our room was located 20 metres from the lovely beach. We paid E40 per night including breakfast. When we were due to leave, we asked that a taxi be called for our trip to Naphlion. The owner's son, Dimitiri offered to take us for free., which he did. A handsome young man . He is the nearest thing to a "Greek god" we had seen on the whole month in Greece.!!.

We stayed for one night at Zephyros apartments after driving from Athens. We found the area really quiet and pretty, and parking was easily found right beside the apartments. It seems to be family run and we were greeted by the owners and shown to our room looking at out at the beach after a bit of confusion (we visited in low season and were the only guests staying so there weren't many people around at first and we had to make inquiries at the bar next door). The owners were really friendly and though they didn't seem to speak any English, we were really well looked after. I regretted not making more of an effort to pick up some essential Greek words and phrases before arriving so that would definitely be worthwhile for anyone visiting here. The room was basic but perfect for our needs, very clean and had everything we wanted including great wifi, good air conditioning and comfortable beds. The real treat was waking up in the morning to that view of the beach, opening the curtains and seeing the ocean spread out in front of us was just breathtaking. The rooms all have their own bit of patio sitting looking at the beach with table and chairs where breakfast is served. I added a photo of the breakfast with this post because it was one of the best we had in Greece! Served with a smile by the owner, it was the perfect beginning to our holiday to sit and eat this looking out at the ocean. The beach is rocky, so not exactly ideal for lying on but the water was beautiful and clear - I would have loved to take the opportunity to swim but we had an early start and a long drive ahead of us, so we settled for a short walk on the beach. The surroundings are beautiful, and so peaceful. If you're looking for something different and away from crowds of tourists (or at least, non-Greek tourists), Kiveri is definitely the place. There seemed to only be a handful of bars and restaurants in the town, and very friendly locals who helped us with directions. When we told other Greek people further on in our trip that we had stayed in Kiveri they were really surprised - asking how did we come across it, as it's not common to get non-Greeks holidaying there. I would definitely come back to Zephyros apartments - for the quality of service, the location, the incredible breakfast, it's unbelievably good value. Highly recommended.

Little unassuming hotel / B&B in a pittoresque little village. Slight off the main tourist tracks (Nafplio 15 minutes away) Friendly staff. Rooms might need to get a refresher, but clean though. Bedding so so. Family-run Booked there as Nafplio was sold out. Nothing fancy, but fair and economic

Found it on the I/N, when looking for a place more or less close to Athens and not far from the beach. ZEPHYROS is 2 hours drive from Athens and litterally touching the beach. Kiveri is a very small town and so is its beach part. The hotel is lovely. It is simple but with a more than obvious effort to give it some character. The walls are colourful, the whole place full of an amazing amount of plants, the peak being the terrace roof which is a 25-meter long vine arbour!!!! I have never seen anything like it anywhere; and it does offer a homely atmosphere. Our room was on the front, right under the vine arbour and facing the sea. This is where we spent the early morning, and many of our evenings. The view is fantastic at all hours of the day. I cannot say enough about the owner, Mr. Panayiotis. I quiet, smiling and always on the move man, keeping an eye on everyone being satisfied. He would serve breakfast every morning at the table right in front of our room, covered with a linen tablecloth; unexpected room service actually .... A good breakst in my opinion with a variety of pies, bread and butter, orange juice. One more thing I ought to say about him; my husband's health created some problems in the room, I offered him my apologies and all he did was smile and silently intensify our room's maintenance. Hardly does one meet with such understanding. Lunch and dinner can be taken at a nearby good restaurant which also delivered at the hotel if we did not wish to go out. On the whole a most pleasant stay.

We stopped there "by accident"! In fact, it was getting late, so it was a wise decision! The owner was very nice to us, and made us a discount, considering it was already too late! It was my first day on greece after athens, on a 18-day road trip along the country. Great memories from that place and that night. The bedroom was cosy and 10m away from the sea! I watched the sunrise from my bed - wonderful! The apartment has tables and chairs outside where we had a wonderful dinner, cooked on the small kitchen. Met an interesting men (a Greek living in San Francisco) there and had a nice chat with him. The beach is nice and in September a quiet place to relax and enjoy the nice temperatures! Would love to come back!!!

The location of the pension is excellent, at only few meters from the beach and it offers a superb panorama of the sunrise even from your bed! In all our recent holidays we looked accommodation beachfront and Zephyros was the best of all. The owners are very helpful, the rooms aren't so big, but very nice, and the terrace is magnificent. Breakfast was good but can be improved. Kiveri is a small village, with few little "tavernas", where we ate the delicious seafoods at good prices. At 2-3 minutes walk you find an excellent bakery and a market. The location is very good to explore Peloponese Island. Just 15 minutes drive is Nafplio. We recommend this guesthouse for all travels.
